I am a humbled, hardworking, self-motivated individual, master in photography and creator of my fortune. I come from Vredendal, an insignificant rural town in the West Coast, Western Cape. An insignificant town that is developing, but it develops frequently from problems. By watching and investigating these issues I am mindful that everyone’s prosperity relies upon an answer of social and worldwide issues. More especially unemployment. I come from a home of five (my mother, myself and my other three siblings). Due to financial difficulties she was unable to complete school and had to work at a premature age to seek to support her parents.
She has proved her best in providing for our needs but, with the minimal salary she generates it has been extremely difficult. We depend on government social grants and her minimal income to make ends meet but considering the number of people in the house this has remained a challenge. At times, it gets so disadvantageous that I cannot receive pocket-money for groceries, and I have to secure part-time jobs to subsidize my lifestyle. Above all, I am extremely appreciative of her as she’s been an inspiration in my life and taught me to never give up and work hard. As a leader of the youth community, I establish many goals and plans. These goals represent social improvement of youth well-being, involvement of young people into social life, finding, and promotion of young leaders. It’s immensely prime to me.
That’s why I strive to take part in your academic establishment to combat global problems of mankind as well as challenges of my community. Receiving this scholarship will allow me to explore the long-term experience of economic sustainability, gain knowledge and skills in the field of Economic and Business Sciences, which can be used for creating better instruments of social upliftment and promotion of fledgling entrepreneurs. I am certain that the knowledge I shall receive in the International Scholar Laureate Program will be able to be applied in the future to become a professional; I could help people and teams to develop their own potential, to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. You will discover different encounters from both my scholastic vocation, and ‘my’ life adjusts great to your association’s main goal.
Molding people group pioneers who are moving in the direction of a progressively moral and manageable world. Your organization stands for what I believe in, developing young leaders to achieve their maximum potential. I hope to aid businesses, the youth and more especially my community reach their maximum potential. To accomplish my goals, I need as much help as possible. I at present receive the moral support of my family and friends, but that is not moderately enough to make my dream come true. I hope that your organization can aid me to achieve this dream by granting me your scholarship.
