When you think about “time management,” what comes to mind? The word “management” stands for that how we are using the time, as we all are so lazy to manage Our schedule. We all were depending on the other person for making Our schedule. This also proves that there is a degree of decision‐making involved, that can help us to include setting goals and priorities, manipulating resources, and taking responsibility for the outcome. Time is the only thing which we cannot change. Because once time passes it never come again. As we know every day has the same number of hours, every hour has same number of minutes, that is why we can say that “time management” is not a correct word to say.

Time management is stand for the word Self- Management — we manage our time by own no one can manage our time better than us on. This the reason why managing of time is closely connected with learning and study issues at the university level. It’s probably the most important skill which everybody wants to have for success in life. How you use your time has a major impact on your academic satisfaction, and stress level. I will discuss more in upcoming paragraphs.

Value of time as we know time is very precious for all. Because a good value of time in our life has a very good impact on our time activities. There goes a proverb- “Time and tide wait for no man.” Time once gone is gone for ever”. This sentence shows us the true value of time. Time gives everyone a chance in which we have to put all effort and intelligence to make it best and usable. Time is really a wonderful thing. Because It has no beginning and no ending. All things are born in time, grow in time and then decay and die in time. Time moves at its own pace. It cannot be commanded. It does not wait for kings or princess and has no pity for beggars.

Time cannot be analyzed. We are generally conscious about passing time and its importance. We have developed clocks and watches to indicate its flow which helps us to do our activity on a proper time and with the help of clocks and watches the world is getting benefited by knowing the real time to manage their schedule. People have invented dates, days and years to indicate and measure it in our own way, but it is really indivisible and immeasurable that People say time is money. But I am saying that it is more precious than money. Money lost can be recovered, but not the time lost. That we can earn or lose money any time.

For example: If we don’t have money today then we can earn money tomorrow but not in case of time. If we lose the time we can never earn that time in future. Which means a moment lost is lost permanently, Change is the law of nature. Nothing is independent of change or time. Life is very short but the work is much large and difficult. There are so much to do in one’s life. Therefore, we should not waste even a single minute. Every breath, every second should be used properly and meaningfully.

Skills plays a very important role in managing the time. Planning is the most important in time management, without it we cannot had a clear vision of what needs to be achieved and within what time frame and in order to ensure you cover all areas that require your attention. Planning your day or week can be daunting to many people. Some managers are born to it and some will struggle. To prevent or reduce stress within the office environment planning is essential. It can be categorised as short, medium or long term. So the first and obvious step is to put a time frame in place, and ensure that you use planning aids to mark your progress

Some important skills in managing the time are

  • Organization
  • Goal – setting
  • Communication
  • Planning

This four are the most important skills for managing the time. Organization plays a very important role in managing the time. That people have to organize their plan before. Everyone had to set a proper goal to achieve that because if one has to achieve goals. So they have to discuss that before. Communication is very important thing in human life because by communication one can know the information of what is happening in the world and Planning is one of the most important skill without planning you cannot do any thing on time.

Miscalculation in time managing is the biggest fear for everyone. Because Having clear goals is critical in helping decide how to spend your time. When you don’t have clear goals, everything on your to-do list seems equally important. This often leads to “analysis paralysis,” where you waste time trying to figure out what to do first. More time you spend figuring out what to do, the more stressed and overwhelmed you feel. Feeling stressed and overwhelmed leads to poor decision-making.

You might choose to do the easiest thing on your to-do list instead of the most important work. This is why you suddenly decide that you need to clean your room or do your laundry when you should be writing your English essay. If you haven’t already identified which of those tasks is most important, they all seem like equally valuable ways to spend your time. If you have clear goals about how to spend your time, you don’t waste it figuring out what to do and don’t fill your important work time with unimportant stuff.

I personally believe that managing time is the most important thing in people life. Because you are the one who can manage their own time no one else can make it more perfectly than you. I suggest not to waste time because time is in our hand if we lose then we are the one responsible for this. For perfect time management we have to make a proper planning and all set our goals.
