A big talk in politics recently has been gun control. As time progresses, we have seen more and more acts of violence with guns. They have become somewhat common which is very dangerous. Some big events that occur such as the Aurora shooting or the Sandy Hook shooting leave a big mark on American society. Dozens of innocent people die for no reason. The Constitution says we have the right to own firearms. However, this document is hundreds of years old. Guns weren’t as powerful and deadly as they are now which is why this document should either be rewritten or another solution needs to be put into effect. Here in America, there is a very large number of deaths by firearms per year. Just a few years ago in 2010, there were 358 murders that involved a rifle. That number doesn‘t seem like a whole lot but that‘s just per year, Then murder with the use of a handgun was 6009. There were also 1900 murders with an unreported gun.

That is more than 8000 people a year being murdered by the use of a gun. 67 percent of all homicides were perpetrated using a firearm. 52,447 deliberate and 23,237 accidental non-fatal gunshot injuries in the United States during 2000. This number has most definitely risen in the past 13 years. The sum of that number is equal to more than 70000 people being shot by a gun and not dying each year. There was a chance that person could have died but they got lucky and were in the right position to not get shot in a critical location such as the heart or lungs. Two-thirds of gun-related deaths in America are all suicides (which also shows that this country is making people kill themselves as many suicides are related to poverty.) Gun store purchases have been analyzed and it has been confirmed that 70 percent of all guns recovered at a crime scene have been bought within the past year.

This could possibly mean that guns are bought with the intention of causing harm or committing a crime. Clearly, guns are an issue in this country and there is in fact a solution to all the harm done by weapons per yeari The solution is simple. We give all Americans weapons. Big weapons and small weapons Multiple weapons to always carry on them with plentiful ammunition so there is never a chance to be unprepared If we arm everyone, then we will all have a chance of equally defending ourselves Adults, teenagers, kids, the elderly and even babies will always have a gun on them. This way, the number of deaths by guns each year will decrease immenselyr Everyone can learn the basics of a gun in a day Point and shoot basically. Simple enough. The American government taxes us so much already that guns will all be provided for us with ammo for the first 15 years If anyone tries to commit a crime, we will all be armed already so any civilian can easily stop the crook.

If it is proven that a criminal is killed while trying to commit a crime, then the person who stopped the crime will receive a large check and a statue of themselves in their town. Another item that should have a limit on it is golf clubs. They can be considered weapons too and sometimes are The rule on golf clubs and other such objects is that they can only be bought once per year. Who needs more than one golf club anyway? A background check will be made on anybody who purchases onei Anybody who is suspicious at all will not be eligible to obtain one by legal matters,

A golf club differs from a gun because a golf club is only a close ranged weapon while a gun can be used over very far distances and can put out a large number of bullets very quickly. A golf club is clearly more dangerous and lethal since everyone will have guns on them at all times. Anybody who is caught without a gun on them will be severely punished, they will instantly be sent to prison for the rest of their life. Since this is new form of self—defense in America, all criminals will be set free this will help the government on taxes (so they can use it more on guns and ammo) and since the level of playing field for defending yourself is equal for all humans, criminals won’t really matter. They will only matter if they try to commit a crime which at any point in time a random civilian can shoot them dead without any penalties.

This is the only real solution to gun violence that is in America There is nothing else that can change the ways of what has happened alreadyi Anything else that is said to help gun control and reduce the violence they cause is nonsense. If anyone ever says that doing a background check on somebody who is trying to buy a gun will help reduce deaths, then slap them in the face because that is false, Limiting the amount of guns a person can own won‘t help eitheri Banning firearms that are automatic also won‘t do anything An automatic and semi are both gunsr It is not like the automatic will do more damage and can kill a lot more people easily or anything like that. That simply won’t happen This plan is truly the only way to reduce the violence that guns can cause
