Today we live in a new time where the number of students studying abroad is increasing rapidly over the last years. There are a lot of reasons why students chose to study abroad instead of continuing their education in their home country. For example, learning a new language, experiencing a different culture and pursuing higher education are the most fundamental reasons for studying abroad. In my view, I agree with students attend schools or universities away from their native countries.

First, studying in a foreign country helps to learn a new language that open new work opportunities. The world is changing fast and more companies than ever are doing business in several countries around the world, but they can’t do it without hiring globally-minded people who can speak at least one foreign language. Also, learning a new language boosts the brain. Study after study shows leaning new language affects memory improvement, longer attention span, and a reduced risk of age-related cognitive decline.

Second, experiencing a different culture and pursuing higher education, while studying hard in a foreign country, students can travel around breathtaking new places and explore different aspects of the new country. In addition, they can meet and interact with new friends while perceiving different angle and sharing thoughts. Moreover, studying abroad enables students to gain a higher education system, especially by developed countries. For example, the students their education system offered by their native country is not sufficient and educational not enough in most career majors. Therefore, many students in developing countries tend to pursue majors offered by highly developed countries like USA and England.

On the other hand, sometimes students who study abroad may suffer from culture shock. Unfortunately, a lot of foreign students have Some effects can be physical, like headaches, and other effects are psychological, like feeling sad. These effects called “Culture Shock”. However, the good news not every one pass through this problem, it differs from person to person.

As a result, students can pursue more specialized and sophisticated careers by attending universities abroad as well as securing a stable future besides meet new friends with new ideas furthermore learn new languages helps them to open new friendships and work doors.
