Water is a nutrient, but tasteless drink that our body needs everyday. Without it, humans would not be able to survive without it. Everyone knows that juice would be the first option people choose when thirsty. But people do not see water as an important/healthier option for your body to function. Why is that? Is it because it taste better or maybe is it because we do not care about our bodies. Our bodies are made up of 50 to 75 percent of water. There can not be a reason to not drink water more than any other form of drinks. Drinking water is healthier for weight losing, releasing toxins, clearer skin, and staying active. Drinking any type of juice with high calories can not replace the benefits of drinking water. Water is a better option for a healthier body than any type of juice.

One benefit of drinking water is weight loss. If you get rid of juices with lots of calories and trade them with water. When on a diet, it is best and most likely that you would drink water. When drinking water before eating a meal, it decreases your urge to eat more than you normally do. It most definitely burns off more body fat meaning, more weight loss in a short amount time.

Substituting water with any high calorie drink can help big time. Even drinking cold water boost your metabolism because your body works harder to warm it up. This ends up having you burning a lot of calories and fat. Maintaining drinking 8 8oz. of water helps you have an ideal weight and keeps your muscles and body worked up. By checking to see if you are drinking enough water, just check your urine. It might seem gross, but if it is clear you are hydrated enough. But if it is darker than that or yellow, you are dehydrated and need a lot more water in your body.

Then there is juices that have vitamins and nutrients. Juices that are extracted from the natural fruits and vegetables can sometimes provide a healthier body. However, what some juices lack are most of the organic vitamins that some one can take by eating the actual fruit or vegetable, rather than drinking the juice. Drinking plenty of water during physical activity is essential. Athletes may have a lot of percent of body weight during physical activity. Hydration also affects your strength, power, and endurance.

You may be more likely to be harmed to the effects of dehydration if you’re participating in endurance, training, or high-intensity sports such as basketball. Negative effects of exercise in the heat without enough water can include serious medical conditions, like decreased blood pressure and hyperthermia. I’ve personally know this because the same thing happened to me. Drink enough water so it doesn’t happen to you.

Another benefit to drinking water is it gets rid of toxins in the body. One of the biggest advantages of water, it removes the toxins through urinating and sweating. This process even helps your kidneys because it removes waste products from your blood.

But this can also help keep your skin clear. When you keep the amount of water your body requires, 8 8oz. bottles of water a day, your skin becomes healthier. It moisturizes it enough to which it results in a better skin tone and texture. The skin of the body contains a lot of water. People who lack fluids or are dehydrated, can have a wrinkled, bumpy, or dry skin. Adequate water intake will help keep your skin hydrated and may promote protein, in your skin, production. However, water intake alone isn’t enough to reduce the effects of aging.

Juice or any high calorie drink, can never fulfill the needs of water in your body. It can help with weight loss, getting rid of toxins, having clear skin, and being active and physical. It is necessary to drink sufficient water throughout the day. Not just for yourself, but to also live a healthier and longer life.
