She comes across as determined and thoughtful when considering the world events and a new generation for feminists. She has just graduated from college and started her new project based on the topic of female rights. Here we present you an interview with her, Jennifer Stuarts, who claimed to be a ‘woman of a new era’ and has been an active instigator of lots of public activities on propagandizing the support for feminism.

Interviewer: Hi, Jennifer. We come here today to ask you several questions about your thoughts on your new project.

Jennifer: Thank you. It’s a great pleasure to be here.

Interviewer: We heard that you recently come up with an idea that women should have the equal policies of job opportunities as men. Is that so?

Jennifer: That’s quite right, sir. In fact, I have been working on this area since a long time ago. Well, you see, the country and the society have been through huge revolutions since the World War I and so do the roles of women. Therefore, I have come up with a bold prediction – which took me quite a lot of researching time, that many housewives desire to have the ability to receive the same amount of job opportunities as men do in order to provide more support for their family, especially their kids, which makes quite reasonable sense to me and it even intrigues me to bring this into the reality. You know, the society.

Interviewer: Umm…Well, I have to say that it’s genuinely something brand new for me to hear about. Why do you think that women should undertake this arduous mission –which to me is quite unrealistic, and what difference or significance would that make if in most cases their husbands are capable enough to support the family?

Jennifer: First of all, sir, by what you mean I think you are referring the word ‘female’ to those upper-class ladies who are married to men from rich families and have nothing to worry about but being a carefree housewife, but it’s not all the case. You see, the fact is that there are millions of women out there who may have lost their families during the war, suffering from social discriminations such as educational and financial differences they have in this kind of male-dominated society, which to me has brutally over powered women from recognizing and developing their own potential. However, everyone on the society has his or her own responsibility give support for their own family or themselves, including women, while these basic rights have been deprived from the society for so many years. To be honest, I myself have also suffered from this kind of discrimination when it goes to the equality of opportunities that I should receive. Therefore, I feel it’s my responsibility to stand up and question the society about how women should be treated as equally as men do, and moreover, relations between men and women should as well be brought about by equal policies.

Interviewer: Okay…that’s quite an impressive speech you’ve got here, Jennifer. And I must say I’m moved by that, literally. Well, I think your pioneering spirit is quite sensational. It really is. But frankly there is no sign for us that so many women want to have their own jobs, is there?

Jennifer: Well, than I’m afraid you are wrong, sir. During these years I have done quite a lot of research based on people’s thoughts on equal job opportunities and the result has surprisingly shown that the number of women who are eager to have equal job opportunities as men turns out to be enormous and another fact that you may not possibly imagine is that millions of females claim that when they are facing the problem of unequal treatment due to the gender, they have no power to declare gains the situation— which is kind of unbearable in a developed civilization like our country, don’t you agree?

Interviewer: Your speech is really powerful and I must confess that I’m probably convinced by you, Jennifer.
