My reflection about the video that l watch about the gender role stereotypes, sexual objectification, and power of advertising to become aware and have proper observation upon using of social media in our society. It serves as reminder on how to control or manage our personality. From my point of view and from perspective on non-sexist education, both stereotypes and gender biases that are often in our culture and we can easily observe in some media, are based on three main criteria: the analysis of made from a male perspective, the existence of personal characteristics character, temperament and behavioral adequate or inadequate as the basis of sexual differentiation argument.

I firmly believe that the vehicle of awareness is still schooling but should be careful in spreading stereotypical ads with messages like: home care and beauty as the main concerns of women. On the other hand, some market segmentation strategies male vs. female in order to increase sales, unintentionally, can help recover time certain gender stereotypes. But why Think there is a gray hair dye one for female and another for male.

I do not think, many men came to mind to write a book, with good commercial prospects, on the peculiar situation of the human male. In the line of extensive publications on the world of women. Often, the terms masculine and feminine are used symmetrically only for pure form, and legal documents.

If the future socio-economics us not fails, gender equality will be a fact in many countries around the world, I refer not only to equal domestic tasks and responsibilities. Through the time the women have had that developed and use strategies to try to survive in a world designed for and by men and have had to adapt and integrate into a world where the roles and personality was developed from a male perspective. Is disturbing to note that some attitudes are attributed mainly to a certain gender. For example, the tenderness, solidarity and frivolity still linked to the feminine personality.

It also considers that Harmful gender stereotypes and wrongful gender stereotyping are one of the root causes for discrimination, abuse and violence in manifold areas and can lead to violations of a wide array of human rights.

It refers to students to reflect on the human condition by connecting to the experiences of others. Aside from this state, Moreover, “media literacy deals with the culture and lifestyle of students. They enjoy thinking and talking about what is going on in the media. For teachers, it is an opportunity to have students examine how they are influencing and being influenced by popular culture” Atlantic Curriculum, as cited in Tallim, 2005.

With the use of media, it should be guided by teachers, parents and so on and to protect from improper usage. Gender difference and power are always operating in advertisement. Although, advertising may reflect real needs and desires and can lead to assault and oppression. I do believe that sexual objectification not only devalues a human being, it also destroys the very relationships that are essential to being human. In this situation we also consider about the perception of Douglas Kellner 2009 states that products of media culture provide materials out of which individuals in contemporary media ad consumer societies forge their very identities, including sense of self, notion of what it means to be male or female, and how people experience class, ethnicity and race, sexuality, age, nationality, and other markers of identity. We should know our limitations the usage of media in our daily lives and to be aware of what compromises us being an individual.

They also give us a false sense of attaining such desires and to sell products are harmful for all. It can be shown in the video by expressing how important it is that adolescents consider their own judgments about representations in the media and what they imply about society today.

Gender issue has become so important this lately. Many people think that gender plays a very important role in the society. Public views on gender have become so exact on certain issue till it is being accepted as a fact by the community. For instance, issues engrossing equality, inequality and stereotyping on gender nowadays attracted most people attention. About the idea on sexual objectification it entails in focusing on teachers who are parents the intention has not been to construct icons of parent teacher hood in which many teachers who are parents fail to recognize their own experiences, nor is it claimed that parents make the ‘best’ teachers. Rather, the aim has been to acknowledge that some of the knowledge, skills and understandings which can accrue from being a parent cannot but help to have a positive impact upon how mothers and fathers who are teachers.
