We currently live in a peculiar time when people seem to have equal rights and freedoms, at least in the West, but the struggle for equality still rages on in most countries. If you’ve read any essays on gender equality or simply followed the recent events on social media and the news, you know that it is not just about men and women anymore; there are many more genders now and all of them are now struggling to achieve recognition and equality. If you are a student, you probably live among many young people who, just like yourself, try to make something of their lives. Some have it tougher though. There are many young people who do not identify as either male or female, and they often fall victims to discrimination either from peers or college teachers. If you want to write a gender equality essay, you can focus on any of the many issues surrounding the topic – men and women, non-binary people, a-gender people, and more. You should also check out some of the gender equality essay examples to see what other people have to say about it.
