This research paper will talk about two cultural events that happen in the world. The first event to be cover is the World Cosplay Summit that happens in Japan. The second event to be cover is Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival that happens in South Korea.

World Cosplay Summit

The World Cosplay Summit is also known as WCS is a cosplay festival in Japan (‘Top 50 Most Popular World Festivals & Cultural Events’). WCS is an annual international cosplay event that promotes friendly international exchange through the Japanese pop culture (‘Top 50 Most Popular World Festivals & Cultural Events’). WCS happens on the first weekend of August in Japan (‘Top 50 Most Popular World Festivals & Cultural Events’). WCS is organized by the events division of TV Aichi and has support of local volunteers, city organizations and businesses (‘Top 50 Most Popular World Festivals & Cultural Events’).

During the festival a parade and a championship are held, both are in Nagoya, Japan. Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival

The Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival happens in April in South Korea (‘Top 50 Most Popular World Festivals & Cultural Events’). In 2018, the festival happened on Friday April 12th and lasted untiled Thursday April 18th (‘Top 50 Most Popular World Festivals & Cultural Events’).
