This paper discusses the importance of charity events. Volunteering is when someone freely offers to take part in an enterprise or undertake a task. Everyone should be encouraging each other in a community to volunteer at events and learn about the lasting benefits it can have. Volunteering is beneficial to everyone and can surprisingly have long lasting effects. It has many positive effects and people are able to come together with their community.

Today there are many different ways to host fundraisers so it is easy to draw people in and get them interested in participating and attending the event. Many people enjoy the big events with concerts and extravagant things but it can become distracting and become hard to get the message across. Although the bigger events are very popular smaller events are able to get the message across and make more of an impact. Everyone should take the opportunity to volunteer and give back to a community. When people volunteer they are able to learn many new things or build on to existing knowledge.

It also gives everyone a way to get involved with a community and help the community become a better place. It is not hard to find places in need of help because there are many organizations that are always looking for it. Charity events are starting to become very popular and so with all the events being hosted tons of volunteers are always needed. Without volunteers organizations could not host the events they do. One of the most important things is having people spend time helping.

Although raising money at the event is important it is also very important to make sure to get the message across to people so they can learn about the cause. It is important that everyone in a local community come together to meet the urgent needs of the community and these events should not be overlooked. So everyone should go and try to get involved with volunteering and come together to make a change in the community.

It is important to make a lasting impact by helping the community. There are many benefits that charity events bring to the public. And most people forget about the positive effects they can have on the lives of others. By taking time to volunteer at events that raise funds for local businesses and charities everyone can help a community. Volunteering is a great way to get involved and make a change in a community.

With charity events becoming more popular many organizations host and try to get people to attend the events. People want to have fun and are more interested in attending the events that include concerts and extravagant things and its beginning to take over the smaller organizations. Getting people to help volunteer is a big part of the event because “when hundreds or thousands of people get together and coordinate their giving, as occurs during a well-executed corporate giving campaign, tremendous and lasting good can be done for the community.”

The more people that attend the event the more people are able to learn about the cause. It is very important to have many people learn about the cause and the importance of it should not be overlooked. When a large community comes together there can be a long lasting impact for everyone. The community needs to get together and encourage one another to volunteer so lots of people can get interested in attending the event.

Although the small organizations get the message across people are not as interested in attending them. The struggle in the community today is getting people’s attention and get them interested in helping. With larger events being more popular to attend the worry is the danger of the costs overtaking the proceeds. Raising funds at charity events is a big deal but it is also important to get the message across.

Charity events can almost easily turn into a giving game. The size, popularity, and uniqueness can go into effect and become distracting. Even though the huge events with tons of people are fun everyone still has to remember that “most people at a rock concert don’t think twice about the charity connected to the event.” People can easily get distracted when events are big and fun with things like concerts ans extravagant things and forget about why they are there. With spreading awareness for the cause and getting the message across being the most important thing smaller events seem better.

Today charity events are trying various new ideas to grab people’s attention and informing about the cause even “a few people that put time, energy and imagination into organizing them, make them meaningful because they can place the cause on centre stage.” This is how it only takes a few volunteers to make a difference and a few people interested to support the cause. Some organizations try to repeat the same event year after year so every year people will want to come back with doing so it can make people feel like they need to come back and volunteer each year. By doing so it can get more people involved and make them feel like they have accomplished a big goal.

Everyone should be working together to meet the urgent needs of a community. With many people staying busy it makes it hard to volunteer. With lack of volunteers an event can not happen. So having volunteers is a big aspect in hosting a charity event. Even though finding people to attend the event may be difficult it is even harder to get people to take their time to help at a charity event but the “government seeks to deal with the economic crisis and relieve the distress felt by millions of families, and it should not be overlooked by the great American tradition of service.” Every year over 60 million citizens provide service for their community but even though it may seem like a lot of people there is still a very big need for help.

The government tries to help out with the millions of families in need but as Americans people should still be helping out. There are tons of opportunities to volunteer, some people want to but they don’t because of “the limiting factor not being the American goodwill but the ways and means of recruiting, training and deploying people who want to play a part in meeting critical community needs.” This is stating the reality that some citizens do want to help but charity events make it difficult to get started in helping the organization. People should feel like it is easy to volunteer there time to help. When it seems too difficult to do people tend to forget about volunteering and not do it at all.

Volunteering has many benefits not just for the community but for everyone associated with the event. Volunteering can be rewarding to everyone that does so and many people never realize how rewarding it is until it is done. With doing so everyone is able to come together to bring together lots of different people from the community and make a change. Even giving has impacts it can “make everyone feel great and provides an excellent example to others in a community, there is a practical limit to the long-term benefits and the social impacts can all personally have on a community through giving.” The importance of giving that the benefit is not only just for the cause or company but for the volunteer or giver too.

So multiple people are being affected. Some of the benefits are teamwork, morale, and employee engagement which can “improve employee engagement by boosting productivity, ethical behavior, gratitude to the organization, and pride in their work.” Studies have shown that there are multiple benefits that giving van have on someone. People should accept the offer to volunteer when help is needed because it can show your willingness to work to help your community. With all the benefits that giving can do everyone should be interested in doing it.

People volunteer for a variety of different reasons. Everyone is able to volunteer because there are no barriers. Help is always needed from all backgrounds, ages, cultures and abilities. Many people don’t volunteer because people think that there will be no benefits for themselves. But there are tons of benefits and many people are not informed. It is very important to get others involved because “donating to the causes people care about not only benefits the charities themselves, it can be deeply rewarding for others too.” Whether it is a big or small event the most important thing is to inform others about the cause. Some of the things volunteering can help with is gaining confidence and self esteem, meeting new people, and gaining new skills or building on existing skills. Therefore it is deeply rewarding for everyone involved.

People should be encouraging others to help because everyone needs to realize that “Volunteering can be one of the most fulfilling things you can do with your time. As well as making a real difference to the organization you are helping, you can build your skills. meet new friends and open your eyes to a whole new world.” Volunteering is a great way to spend free time because it is a great way to help someone out and make an impact. Also when volunteering people are able to develop skills and qualities which will help benefit a community. It is important that everyone has the opportunity to get involved because it can strengthen a community and enhance society as a whole.

It is very important to help someone in need. Every year more americans are struggling and look to non-profit organizations for help and “everyone feels inclined to help others.” Helping others is a good thing and we would not be able to survive without the help of others. Humankind often is looked upon as being self-interested. With events raising money for organizations or causes in need, everyone in the community can come together as one to help eachother out.

Everyone is benefited with someone’s help when they volunteer because “studies show that when people donated to charity, the mesolimbic system, the portion of the brain responsible for feelings of reward, was triggered.” There are tons of positive outcomes when giving back to a community. Citizens need to come together with others in a local community and help out people or places in need and it doesn’t take much to do so because even the smallest efforts can make an impact.

Many people are afraid to give because they think the organization might not give their money to the organization and use it for something else instead. When the government records and federal tax returns were looked at it showed some organizations did spend more in there budget than they had to spend on actual wish-granting because “many people in the wish-granting organization said that no money was ever given to them.” You have to be careful when giving to assure that your money is going to the right place and being used for good. Many organizations today will try to make an event sound great and will hide the fact that none of the benefit raised is actually going to a cause. It is important to figure out which organizations are not fake as so that you won’t be giving to a fraud organization.

Volunteering is a contribution to the community. Local citizens are able to come together with efforts to work towards achieving the betterment of a community. Everyone should feel like they can help the community whether big or small help is always needed because “you should never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Despite not being to help a lot even just a little can help and no help is ever too small. Many organizations today struggle to find volunteers and will take all the help they can get. So everyone should feel like they are able to volunteer anytime.
