As the name suggests comprises of two expressions having deep meaning. Personal means belonging to a specific person rather than anyone else, usually involving character, appearance and behaviour. The other term development means the step by step process that creates growth or progress in terms of every aspect of the concerned components. So now we can simply understand the concept of personal development. It is all about taking time from your busy schedule and making a commitment to invest in your greatest capital-YOU.

Personal Development is an often used but rarely explained term. It is all about you. Who you are? What are you going to do with your life? What is the step of your happiness? It is about to tally investing in oneself so that we don’t have to wait for what comes in your way. Rather than be proactive and not wait for good things to be happen. You get out there and make it happen. You may not always achieve your goals but you will encounter plentiful and most rewarding life when you commit to achieve your own goals. There are various aspects of personal development:

  • Physical Development
  • Emotional Development
  • Mental Development
  • Social Development
  • Spiritual Development

Physical development finds out the state of your health and start working on it.It attracts you to go for walking, does yoga, meditation, give attention to your diet and most important to make you relax that you are physically fit.

Emotional Development refers to one’s ability to recognise and express one’s feeling at different stages of life and have empathy of others. It will take time and this is something you should work on it.

Mental Development –It means the better capacity for learning and knowing when to alter your actions, keep yourself mentally strong by exercising your brain. This development never ends and you never actually finish becoming a mentally strong person.

Social Development – Everyone has some social tendencies that they work like to work on and this is where social development comes into play. Start practising to interact with peoples who normally talk and explore modes of communication that you don’t use often.

Spiritual Development-Being spiritual means you are working on improving your learning about yourself and you truly wants in your life.
