Humans are complicated and there are a lot of definition of good life in different perspectives of people but now, I am going to share of living in a good life for me. First, it comes from being loved from the most important people around you and having satisfaction of what you have achieved in life. The feeling of fulfilment in our path and goals. A happy fulfilling life is a life shared with friends and family. Above all, happiness is the most important of them all for achieving the good life.
Me to Myself
“The good life” is also about appreciating all your time and everything you have. So, I have decided to spread positivity starting to myself. Every morning, I give thanks for having a brand-new day to be good and feel blessed that I am healthy today as someone who has been battling the virus that would love to live my life today. It is not that hard to stay positive, we just need to find the good in the bad. Living in the good life is living your life to fullest in every single moment because right now is the only moment guaranteed to you so do not miss it. Appreciate the life’s simple pleasures like sleeping on rainy day. Instead of searching for perfection, find something that satisfies your needs.
You’ll know if you are living a good life if you are passionate in your endeavors. I will tell you everything I know how to be happy because happiness is the key to having good life. First, always sleep well because a tired mind is unhappy and insufficient. Make a little time planning in achieving your goals. Get things done effectively by slowing down. Lastly, don’t forget the laugh with your family and friends and treasure every single moment with them.
As human, we all have a floating around in our brain somewhere of our ideal self that is a perfect representation of who we are and becoming the better version of our self. Our ideal self are all the things we want in life like a fantasy that is different from our real self. On the other hand, sometimes we became fixated on our ideal self and became disappointed in our life. However, even if we never achieved the fantastical version of our self because of reality like our upbringing and cultural environment, we must find our own on happiness in our real self. Be aware of reality, get your facts straight and make educated decisions. In the end, acceptance and being positive is what is we really need to achieve a good life. Moving forward in every failure and always finding the good in the bad things happen in your life.
