Today, gender discrimination is one of the problems in this generation and has been one of the most primitive forms of discrimination in most civilizations. Although the majority of societies around the world are moving towards reform, there is also an understanding that there is too much to change and that women’s rights have been abolished for too long.

In matters such as property rights, the treatment extended to women is inhuman, to say the least. According to dictionary.com, gender inequality is the idea and situation that women and men are not equal. Gender inequality refers to unequal treatment or perceptions of individuals wholly or partly due to their gender. It arises from differences in socially constructed gender roles. To improve economy in nation or society in general, we must treat each other equally first.

Are men and females treated equal? You can likely say no to the question. Have you ever been impacted by gender injustice? nearly everybody has experienced sex injustice at some point in their life. Gender injustice began to take effect years and years ago. Starting from when we are young to when we get old, we experience it [1]. Some people think of it as a small thing other don’t even consider it at all. What we don’t know is that gender injustice at a young age will go on to create the person that child becomes one day. When placed in a job for the first time in South Carolina, a female will most likely start at seven fifty an hour as a guy can often start at a higher wage than that whether it be a penny or more.

there are some exceptions where women earn more than men. According to a survey on gender pay inequality by the international Trade Union Confederation, female workers in the Gulf state of Bahrain earn forty percent more than male workers [2]. Females who get paid more than men are the ones who get more education than men. It is rare today to find that kind of women. Because females nowadays try to rush through their education after witnessing marriages and pregnancies.

Often it is because the females were tempted along their way to higher education into having sex and getting pregnant. We have to understand that males don’t really get any consequences from having sex especially when the girl is a virgin, but the girl takes it all. When the girl gets pregnant it is easy for the guy to say it’s not his rather than accepting it which causes women to drop out of school and find a way to care for their child.

Poverty has many other components, one of which is the sex pay gap according to US Census, females are more likely to be living in poverty and this pay disparity is one of those reasons [3]. It is important for girls to go to school, so they can avoid the kind of circumstances where they end up having to take care of another child before they’re even grown up. It is not easy for girls living in poverty to reach very far in education, but they can change that if they focus in school more than house chores which should be done by the mom. When a girl lives in poverty, instead of going to school and getting education she would most likely sell her body to be able to take care of her family which is a high risk of her catching and spreading HIV if she has not been educated enough to know about protection.

Gender difference, which is sometimes called gender discrimination, means unequal treatment based entirely on sex. Females are most usually the issue of sex inequality in a workspace. Despite decades of effort, statistics indicate that for every dollar a person earns a woman in a same business earns only seventy-seven cents. Understandably, there are however improvements to be made. Understanding gender difference is a step toward eradicating it from the contemporary work.
