Some people can say children are not obligated to take part in war, they do because they want to, they look as if they want to, but the reality is that there is something that causes children involucre in conflicts. Although they look for these groups, them main reason to do is that because of the war their families have lost everything, they have no education, no alimentation, no life at all. They think armed groups can give them a home, and yes, some people in these groups protect them as they were their children, but most of them are abused and maltreated. Need for attention and family abuse are the two main reason children look for armed groups, this need can be caused because of the lost of their family or separation. To carry weapons make them look important and bring them the attention they want, Soldiers encourages hatred on children against their own communities because they have been expelled. But at the end children don’t join because that is what they really want, there is a reason that causes that. Poverty, hatred, family abuse, either one of this can cause, A child is never going to join to an armed group without any reason.
Children have been the most affected in every way, being more vulnerable, they don’t have who can protect them. International law should take action to resolve this problem, become law more strict, and make them be respected. Countries must take action to protect their children, they are the future, if they are no children there is no future for the country. Child soldiers is a reality, and it is possible that this keep growing, we need to take action or it is never going to end. It is important to do everything that is possible to make children change their minds, they need help, they can’t left by themselves. To carry out programs is important, the only thing that can make sure children won’t be used in armed conflict anymore is that the society worries about what causes children to take part of armed groups. Develop method to reduce poverty, to provide labor opportunities and education, help communities to get better ways to offer a life for children. All this mean that the state does not forget that children form the society too, and they need rights and to be respected.
