As a matter of a brief introduction, I am Rana Safarova, studying Bachelor’s degree 4th course in Industry Management at Azerbaijan State University of Economics and this is a letter for supporting my application to Master’s Degree program at the Corvinus University of Budapest.
İn 2015, I got admitted to Azerbaijan Technical University for undergraduate degree with high entry points from the state examination, which is a single and only exam to get admitted to the university in Azerbaijan. In my second bachelor year I was admitted to the special groups called “SABAH Center” at Azerbaijan State University of Economics which is a specially organized group for the best performing and socially active students who have high level of fluency in English. For these four years, I have always tried not to miss any international training, debate or competition related to my specialty. As a result, I chose the topic “Changing consumer behavior in the industry’ for my thesis for bachelor’s degree and now I am working on it.

Stipendium Hungaricum program has a big prestige in my country. I have lots of friends who are still studying there in different universities. This and lots of other advantages made me to apply it without hesitation. It is a great opportunity for me to study as a citizen of an independent country, as a citizen of the East, breaking these barriers in a situation where more women have cultural difficulties, restrictions form their family about their education in high specialized universities abroad. This program is my only chance to break it and to realize my dreams.
My main intends in applying for the Corvinus University of Budapest are the economic background that the university holds and its outstanding rankings both in Europe and World. Before deciding on them I have researched each of them separately. Firstly, I would like to mention that indeed the demand to this major is increasing day by day. Corvinus University of Budapest –prestigious university in Hungary and in the region is among top 350 universities for economics and business in world, 801-1000th in QS and 45th in Emerging Europe and Central Asia university rankings.
In addition, the location of university- Budapest is such a kind of city with full of opportunities and adventures. Additionally, the highest index of satisfaction among the employers concerning the students having graduated from Corvinus University of Budapest, having teaching professors who have a great experience not only in Hungary, but also at other European universities, making students work hard and other reasons caused to write this institution in first choice by me. I want to study Marketing because there is a great demand for it in my own country.
As Azerbaijan firms grow and integrate through different channels they began to search specialists who has capabilities of organizing an international level of promotions inside and outside of firm. In search of this intelligence I think that this application will help me to cover a little part of that demand as an individual. Undoubtedly, for supporting my outstanding love to marketing I choose Széchenyi István University – Marketing: Marketing and Sales Management as a second choice for my application. Széchenyi István University has a good ranking and exactly the sales criteria made me to be interested in this exact course there. The location and other possibilities also the experience that university has are undeniable.
In conclusion, I would like to say that I have always struggled for reaching my purposes. But sometimes just your effort is not enough to do it, external support is also needed. To support, I believe Stipendium Hungaricum program is designated for that group of people in which I am also in. I believe financial distress won’t be a border to me to upgrade my background.
