The enigma of why we read and what books do for us is as former as the written word itself, and as appealing. Galileo saw learning as a way of having extraordinary abilities. For Kafka, books were “the ax for the frozen sea within us”; Carl Sagan possesses them essentially “proof that humans are capable of working magic” which James Baldwin had obtained in the books that they are a way to alter one’s fate; for Polish Nobel laureate Wisława Szymborska, they stood as our terminal border of freedom. We write to change the world. People utilize now more than ever in the antiquity of the world. We consume more, we adapt to more music, and we imbibe more information. However, we’ve also learned enough about merchandising to know it won’t make us felicitous. Writing gives us an opportunity to turn the tides on industrialism. Humans have an integrated need to leave our identity in the world.

We want to produce new things to life, to nurture things into the depiction we have in our curiosity, to conquer the earth. We write not just to change the world, but to generate a new world. We write to unearth an explanation. The psychiatrist Victor Frankl postulated that the first search for humanity is not contentment or satisfaction but denotation. Life is never made intolerable by events, but only by lack of intent and persistence, he stated in Man’s Search for Meaning. Writers are distinctively capable of finding a purpose for themselves and assisting others to find meaning. This has always been the primary task of storytellers. Every story matters to the person living it, and our job is to tell universal stories, the stories that reveal the story of every person on the earth. We write to bring meaning to the world. One of the significant causes, why we read books, is to obtain experience and knowledge.

Books are a valuable reference for data. Reading books on diverse topics confer information and enhance the profundity about the matter as well. Whenever you read a book, you learn new knowledge that contrarily would not have known. Many times we’re unquestionable we know what we “indubitably desire” in life. Yet you’ve found that pastime like reading show you things you didn’t realize about yourself. Your mind will accumalate to things that you’d genuinely like to do, and it isn’t long that these minor omissions in reading start to sequences. The same nature of goals keep manifesting in your head, allowing you to see what you actually want to do. For example, you’ve been writing eassys on a consistent basis, but you’ve always wanted to write and publish your own book. As you’ve been reading, you’ve found that novel ideas and other general thoughts on books keep displaying into your head. It’s your times reading that have really pushed you into giving writing a serious go.

We read to have a future, to evolve our imagination, experiences, and knowledge. To expand our knowledge pass the fundamentals of the world. A quote by James Baldwin “You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive.” Meaning that when you read there’s a direct line amid our virtuous and communal calamity and the subside of the humankind. Literature is our chance to reconnoiter the world of the “further,” to enter into some mind other than our own. That’s accurately what’s lacking in today’s unversial life, and that’s the apprehension that should have been beached in our academic technique.
