Bullying, it is a very rampant problem in schools, kids are bullied in schools every day. So bullying should be a prioritized problem. Bullying Needs to be prioritized by schools because many kids have been bullied, there are many people who are standing up against bullying, and it is not being prioritized as it should by schools. This is not fair to any of the students that schools have not prioritized Bullying

The first reason bullying needs to be prioritized by schools because many students have been bullied and harmed in schools. “Almost 60% of middle school kids have claimed to be bullied,” this was in many articles that I read and this shows that there are many kids who are bullied in their schools. This fits in with my claims because there should not be as many kids continuously being bullied as there is now. Another example of this is almost 3 million kids do not go to school because of their bully’s. This shows that bullying needs to be prioritized by schools, and them n it going to school could affect their life in the long term and not allow them to be able to get a good job and continue to get education.

Another reason bullying needs to be prioritized by schools is because there are many people and teens that are standing against the bullying. Alex Libby is one example of this because he appeared in the documentary “bully” which was liked “more than 120,000 times on facebook” by people who may be bullied. This is in line with the claim because many teaches could have seen Alex Libby, who also appeared in another b ugly movie called “The bully affect” and seen the harmful affect that bullying can have on kids or students. Another example of a person who stands up to bullying is a woman by the name of Emily-Anne Rigal, she wants to stop bullying and started a organization called “WeStopHate” which is focused on bullying and cyber bullying. This fits with the claim because having an Anti-bullying organization in schools can have a 50% decrease in bullying.

Finally, bullying should be stoped because schools are not prioritizing bullying as much as as there should be. “More than 40 states have bullying statutes, but less than half tell when a teacher should step in.” This is to good because the teacher may not know when to step i, and like is some one is being continuously bullied , the students could say its just a joke or they are just kidding. This shows that bullying should be prioritized by schools and even create a protocol for it for bullying.

Another example of schools not doing as much as they should is they are not talking to their students as much, talking to students can be very beneficial to the students not being bullied. This fits with my claim because “only about 16% of school staff know that someone is being bullied.” And also, “much of the time when someone is being bullied, adults are the last one to know,” so the students could tell the students

Those are the reasons that bullying should be prioritized by schools.
