KFC, also known as Kentucky Fried Chicken is world largest fast food franchise of today. Colonel Harland Sanders, founder to KFC who created the finger lickin’ good recipe exceeds 75 years. The trademark of the restaurant which eleven secret herbs and spices scratched out on the back of the kitchen door. Today, more customers can be attracted by KFC with their real cooks breading and freshly preparing delicious chicken by hand in more than 23,000 restaurants in over 135 countries and territories around the world including Malaysia. Besides, KFC and its franchised employees are more than 200 thousand in all over the world. Then, KFC has been purchased by Pepsi company. Pepsi company then changed the logo of Kentucky fried chicken to KFC in 199. KFC 1000th restaurant opened in Japan in 1992 and the 9000th restaurant in china in 1994. By the early 70`s, that special recipe reached Malaysia. Its delicious aroma was attract most Malaysian citizen and became popularly amongst them. KFC prides itself as a fast-food restaurant give customer’s great tasting chicken with a selection of home-styled side dishes and dessert. This is due to the main mission for KFC is to maximize profitability, improve shareolders value and deliver sustainable growth year after year.The first KFC restaurant was opened in 1973 on Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Until now, KFC Malaysia reached about 500 franchised around Malaysia and still counting on.
