A fast food restaurant within the industry itself, is a specific type of restaurant that is characterized by its fast food cuisine service. Kentucky Fried Chicken (K.F.C) is one of the essential enterprises in food production all over the world. Here is a short backdrop about Kentucky Fried Chicken (K.F.C), it was created by Harland Sanders just at the age of sixty-five (65). He decided to open his own restaurant in a very little space of a gas station where he called the dining area “Sanders Court & Café. This helped him because he started out by authorizing his chicken line of work by conveniently going around places cooking and serving portions of chicken for owners who have their restaurants along with employees of business places as well. The first KFC restaurant to open was in 1952 and from that Sanders “finger-lickin’ good” methods are distributed worldwide. Customers are able to establish the establishment’s accomplishment while eating KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), customers are searching into different details, such as the quality and quantity of the food that is served, the environment on a whole, the workers and many other details. The image of an organization is extremely major which will lead to an increase in sales worldwide.

The slogan “finger-lickin’ good” was replaced in February 2011 with it being “so good” where it would build the strategy that KFC in order to become a great establishment, basically concentrating on food, staff and the different projects they do to help in the community. KFC target people that are living in the town because of the division of goods to the consumer is very much easier for them. The marketing mix speaks about the set of activities that an organization utilizes to encourage its label in the industry. The marketing mix includes Price, Product, Promotion, and Place. Price can be defined as the size of cash that consumers have to spend while obtaining a product. In this case, KFC doesn’t have a specific age limitation and they invade the market using market skimming. If you’re wondering what is market skimming, it is the blueprint in which the product is floating originally at high prices that consumers are willing to purchase and it lowers over time. Before deciding on the cost of the product, KFC makes sure they incorporate the government taxes and all the expenses that are necessary and ensure that they contrast prices with other organizations in order to come to a fixed price.

Another on the marketing mix is a product which points out the goods literally being exchanged. The product is the third P in the marketing mix where KFC primary product is fried chicken pieces, established with Colonel’s recipe of herbs and spices. A large number of portions of fried chicken are served in a “bucket” that is made of cardboard which definitely has become a known fact in the industry, it was first to learn about by franchisee Pete Harman. KFC expanded its menu by promoting products such as chicken sandwiches, wraps, salads, coleslaw, desserts, soft drinks, French fries, and many other products.
In the Placement area, Kentucky Fried Chicken develops its organization in such a way that consumers can make orders delivered to their home or office. This helps the consumer in so much way that consumer can save time and money and it would be so easy to get food. Workers that are hired to work in KFC have to have some training involved in helping them to perform better in the working environment. KFC also promotes jobs within the business where recruitment such as corporate with colleges where when a student has a degree program, KFC will provide internship courses for them, they also have it through social media like Facebook, Instagram and many others sites. Newspaper and banners can also be used in the hiring of placement jobs as well. The place is the machine through which stock or services have proceeded from the producer to the consumer.
Promotion is the last P in the marketing mix which is the procedures used to notify and instruct a specific target group about the business and its products that are available. Advertisements are used by KFC showing purchases that the consumer paid and it is a mnemonic of telling consumers of how great they feel when consuming KFC, they also use sponsorship for teams so that they can also promote the brand of the company. KFC is a very good place for its workers and customers to enjoy. KFC ensures that they keep having new ideas of chicken products that help in the extension of profits. KFC has a lot of negative feedback coming from the consumer when regarding the food delivery which tends to take very long and it is served cold and lets the consumer knows if the food will be delayed because of certain situations. In conclusion, KFC provides juicy chicken with a large diversity of meal choices. After doing my findings, I have come to the conclusion that KFC does have great goods as far the chicken items, but they have to increase other dishes to attract consumers. Place, Product, Price, and Promotion could be determined by the failure and success of the organization. It is excellent to know this concept helps with the research paper. This research paper has helped me to know a lot about KFC in terms of how they operated their business.
