Malaysia is a third world country that has a unique history. Although we are young now, we can still proffer something to our beloved homeland. We can study the special culture of Malaysia, maintain the long lasting peace among the races and rescue the wondrous natural pulchritude of Malaysia.
Our kingdom has a rare type of civilization, it is not of a single origin like other nations. It is a mystical blend of cultures of all the different traders and conquerors that have once set foot here. Thus, we should all be learning our culture, and making sure that it is our children’s heritage, never forgotten and will pass on for generations more. If we let our culture fade away, we would be nothing more than faithless living working body. But how do we learn cultures? It is very simple, just by observing and visiting the other ethnic group during special days, their culture will come like a lost dog returning back.
Owing to the difference between the amount of cultures of Malaysia and of other countries, tension betwixt races can be high. Henceforth, it is vital that the youth like me are maintaining a good relationship. If we live now divided, Malaysia’s future would be austere, with a high chance if civil war between the races. But if we were taught to unite since young, Malaysia will develop into a first world country with an unbreakable spirit. We can do so by avoiding racism to other ethnic groups and respecting them and their culture.
Our country is considered a natural gem, with its towering jungles and pristine beaches with crystal clear waters. But its beauty is threatened as virgin lands are prized highly, jungle woods are favored materials and development is unstoppable. If we keep our voice in, the prized possessions of the country are lost into the hands of the wicked, who would only raze our land. But if we recycle and join campaigns or activities, like replanting trees, our nature can be protected from their demise.
Malaysia is our homeland, and we, the youth, have the power to conserve it. By preserving our culture, amity and nature, we can stand for Malaysia to make it renown throughout the globe as a utopia. Or if we just stand and watch, our country will transform itself into a grey dystopia.
