Did you ever get bullied before? If you have gotten bullied before, you probably felt sad or mad, and If you hadn’t gotten bullied before, you probably never experienced it, LIKE ME. All around the world, bullying happens. It physically and mentally hurts people. A lot of kids moved schools or homes because of bullying. Bullying is widely spread throughout the world, and it has caused suicide, self-harm, and incecurity As a result, we should stop bullying.

Bullying is mostly intended to happen in schools, teenagers, and younger children. Some children get verbally abused or socially. The worst part about bullying is that people most people witness it and do nothing. When you think about some people, get hurt or depressed because of the name that they were called. According to Stopbullying.gov,” Most bullying happens in middle school. The most common types are verbal and social bullying.” Bullying also happens to many other ages instead of teens. Adults get bullied too. According to psychologytoday.com it states “A bully can be an aggressive juvenile, an intimidating boss or colleague, a controlling romantic partner, an unruly neighbor, business representative, family members and, abusive relationships.” Some adults get bullied in their workplace. Bullying could happen to anyone.

Many people committed suicide due to bullying. I think suicide certainly solves nothing, but some of these kids think they can obtain a small bit of peace because they get tired of being called things like being called worthless pathetic or other extremely harmful names. Being bullied makes a significant impact on the person who is getting bullied. It causes them to feel insecure about there self. Too many people have died because of bullying.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a problem. I feel this is not the right way to handle the problem, and there are many other options and solutions to it. Every year thousands of people are killed not by a natural cause, not by a disease, not by someone else’s hands but instead their own hands. According to bullyingstatistics.org, “Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people, resulting in about 4,400 deaths per year.” This quote explains how many people died because of bullying. It needs to be stopped.

When a person is being bullied it could likely increase self harm. Self-harm involves cutting, hitting, burning, and basically anything that motivates harm. According to psychcentral.com “Self-harm behaviors may stem from a desire to relieve tension or communicate stress, and in the most extreme cases may represent a suicidal intent in the individual.” Bullying causes more than self-esteem and self-worth. Bullying can hurt people.
