People believe that beer ads should be outlawed in television and college newspapers, but is that really the reason why people drink? believe it is not, Yes there are many side effects of drinking beer, but ads to not tell people how much to buy or to drink. Beer ads on television are just a way of companies of the beer to make money to put them up not necessarily to influence people to drink as much as they do. To begin with, many people spend lots of money on beer, orjust drinks, in general. There is never someone that says they are going to buy beer or drink, because they saw an ad on television telling them to.

In addition, people also believe that beer ads should be outlawed from college newspapers because they think it contributes to underage drinking. In reality, underage drinking is caused by students wanting to socialize after a long week of school or just to have fun. There are only myths of beer ads taking an effect on students, but not actual factsi Students know what beer does to them and it‘s their choice if they abuse alcohol or not. The advertisements in the newspapers are just to show what different kinds there are not to influence students to drink. In conclusion, banning beer ads will not make a difference in people drinking excessively.
