There are many tails, myths and stories about God. But all this leave us with one question; does god exist? If yes then can science prove the existence of god? In the article Pierre-Simon Laplace gave several scientific explanations about how solar system works. But his answers to the questions lead to another important question. Where did it come from? That’s the ultimate question. The author also gave a scientific explanation which was “The momentum has been in that direction.
The whirlpool of cosmic stuff that spawned the solar system spins because it is one small part of the great rotating galaxy, the Milky Way. When a random fluctuation causes enough gas and dust to bunch together, gravity takes over and celestial bodies begin to form. If you want to know where the galaxies came from, there are answers as well. Ultimately, it all comes down to the Big Bang.” But again it raised the same question.
At the end the author said “”Universe” used to mean everything that exists. To even think about this new scheme of things, the definition must be weakened to “everything that we can get information about.” We are required to believe in — take on faith — that there is something outside the universe. Might as well just call it God.”
This article was very interesting, as are the question raised. But the most important/interesting fact about this article was that author explained how people created “God”. He gave a good explanation about how people don’t understand something and to make their life easy they say “God made it”. Even though this article doesn’t prove the existence of god, but it demonstrates the logic of why people believe in god. But as a final point, this article got me wondering whether the God exists or not? If it doesn’t exist then where did this “universe” come from? And how everything worked out to be the way it is?
