lam proud to be an American because of what we offer to everyone and who we are as Americans I am proud because of the stuff we do. The parades, holidays, and ceremonies we have all around the country We like to honor people like the presidents and our founding fathers, We are people who stand up for what we believe in, we have protesters that will stick up for what they want and not go down without a fight Being a proud American is also about the freedom and the rights we have in this beloved country.Wit_h freedom many of us Americans are allowed to do what many other people cannot do in their country, I have many freedoms, one of them being, the freedom of speech, I have the right to speak my mind I do not have to stay quiet.
We all have the freedom and right of speaking up and making a change in any political action, There are many reasons why you are proud. (For one, we have freedom as one of our options to pick as something to be proud of but why I am proud is because of the brave men and women that leave their families behind and go out to serve for our country), This is what makes me proud to be an American We have people who are willing to risk their lives, for families, friends, and complete strangers, Showing our appreciation to our veterans is what makes me feel good and what brings out the pride in me.
Our troops and soldiers need to be shown that we care about what they do for us by having a holiday all about them and showing our respect for their hard duty. Having holidays are another reason that makes me proud because holidays are what brings out everyone‘s faith, values, and beliefs. We are able to get together with our families and have an amazing day Not everyone notices, but holidays are special and when people celebrate all types of holidays, we as Americans are showing patriotism. Having patriotism is important because as Americans we show the love we have for our country We have Olympics, and two important holidays like Fourth of July and Veterans Day, that shall never be forgotten nor uncelebrated.
