Space exploration is the best way for a country to advance you can find new resources and new places to live. Space exploration is a good way to show improvement and advancement in a country it shows that a country is ready to start upgrading their materials and technology. Scientists have sent people to the moon and set up space stations to study how the mystery that is space works. Nasa’s next target is to set up and colonize on mars their working on civilian travel to mars. They also, have sent drones to monitor the planet Jupiter and see the way the gas planet takes its for and to see how it was formed.
“The Mars 2020 mission addresses high-priority science goals for Mars exploration, including key questions about the potential for life on Mars” says NASA scientist planning to explore and colonize mars. That’s not the only mission they have they are also planning to explore Saturn’s moon titan. They want to land a drone on it this year and which could be very revolutionizing and could help us understand titan more. The drone can help with getting facts like if the air is poisonous, where would be a good spot setting up a base. If they put a drone on titan, it can help find areas where there could be future colonization.
Our technology is advancing, and it is making new ways to travel to space, and new gadgets to tell us about planets we explore and planets we have to observe. Also, the planets we plan to explore in the future to see what we would need to get to the planets and to set up structures and possibly colonize. Some of the tech we invent could possibly help us to see if there are livable planets with a sustainable food source and a sustainable water source. As the amount of junk from satellites increases there are concerns about it hindering future explorations. There are missions being developed to remove the junk out of space.
The satellites have to maneuver to avoid collision with the hazardous objects. Some experts are even saying that there is at most as eight teen thousand objects in space being monitored. Scientists are voicing concern about the increasing danger of space debris circling around our planet. At least three quarters of a million hazardous objects larger than one centimeter are orbiting Earth. With the future coming NASA will not be racing any competitors they will be building upon the community of industrial, international, and academic partnerships assembled for the space station.
With the technology advancing scientists have discovered two massive storms on the gas planet know as Jupiter. Most people look at launch vehicles and reusability but right now we don’t use space vehicles very efficiently. Even some of the smaller vehicles that NASA has made are already showing a lot of potential. Having multiple satellites reduces the percentage of failure during a mission. When one satellite goes down the system isn’t affected by much and can keep doing its job. There are many businesses trying to set up businesses in space of supplying food or resources for astronauts. In the future there could possibly be businesses in space that good provide power for space stations or transportation. Space is quickly going to become a place that the companies that power our economy will eventually conduct business. Soon some of the industries that will be in space are transportation, electrical, mining, construction, and hospitality and real estate. Businesses in space is becoming such a big deal that the government in Luxembourg believes in this one industry it created a $227 million space resources initiative.
In order for a rocket to get to orbit the earth it has to reach a speed that has been named orbital velocity. Although the speed needed to escape the earths gravitational pull has a different name which is escape velocity the big question though is will, we be able to avoid or lessen the earths gravitational pull in the future. If we do avoid it there is another question, will our spaceships be able to go further and have more fuel and more speed.
