A survey showed that nearly 65% of college students believe their lifestyle is not very healthy. Some students often eat takeaway, exercise less and do not leave the dormitory on weekends.

College students are full of vitality and they are at the stage of strengthening the body and increasing knowledge. Good living habits are an important basis for ensuring that they can successfully pass through the university stage and realize the value of life. However, many college students do not take their health seriously and their lifestyle is irrational. Why is that ?

From the perspective of students, they think they are energetic and different from the frail old people and children, so they do not attach enough importance to their health. In terms of school education, schools and students mainly focus on examinations in middle school. As for health education, they are often not concerned about or simply perfunctory. This also makes their health consciousness and the habit nurturance inadequacy. In terms of social atmosphere, nowadays the society is under great pressure of competition. Many people sacrifice their health to work and study, and college students are no exception.

For students, it is important to recognize the importance of health. Jiang nanxiang, President of Tsinghua University, put forward the slogan ‘Work healthily 50 years for our country’. So what should college students pay attention to in order to live a healthy life?

First, make a reasonable schedule. There is a lot of time that can be arranged independently in college, but many students have unreasonable schedules without their parents’ restrictions. Once bad habits are developed, it is difficult to change. For example, you develop the habit of staying up late, and sometimes you want to go to bed early, but you find it hard to fall asleep. Only when you keep a reasonable schedule can you finish your study tasks efficiently and have more time to do what you like.

Second, take an active part in physical exercise. A large number of studies have shown that physical exercise is a kind of low expense, low risk and low side effects of the effective means to improve the physical and mental health. Physical exercise can directly bring pleasure and joy to the person, reduce tension and anxiety, regulate mood, and improve the mental health status.

Third, have a reasonable diet. No food contains all the nutrients people need. So in dietary respect we should pay attention to the diversity of food varieties, maintain a good appetite and improve digestion and absorption.

In professor wang’s opinion, ‘it is difficult for students to meet their needs and solve their practical problems just by giving lectures and looking at video. In order to establish a healthy life philosophy, we need a set of education standards and systems that meet the requirements of the times and is effective.
