As people begin, they all have some sort of values, whether or not it is beliefs, or choices or whatever it is.. These all begin to develop the older we get. Any experience we come to interact with can change the way we value something.What is value? Value is when something has the right to deserve the importance of worth. As we are kids we might think that having three dollar bills is a lot more then having a twenty dollar bill. As we get older we come to learn the twenty dollar bill has more value. To some people the three dollars is still worth something just not as much. Just like everyone in this world holds value. In our lifetime the people in our life are gonna come and go. The people who are considered valuable varies from who it is. In reality,everyone carries some kind of value. To have value is to have understanding, really appreciate it, and to have meaning.
Life is just a big game, which requires a special understanding of what it means to live and what it means to have value. It is important to understand what value is, Life of Pi is a great example of what it means to have value in all things. A quote from the book states, “Life is so beautiful that death has fallen in love with it, a jealous, possessive love that grabs at what it can. But life leaps over oblivion lightly, losing only a thing or two of no importance, and gloom is but the passing shadow of a cloud” (Martel;6). This shows how important it is to carry value. It shows people how it is important to have a deep understanding of the value in our life in order to really grasp the concept.
There is more to life than just taking it day by day. Those who do not take the time to really appreciate what they have really miss out on the good things in life. Value can be able to provide the joy our souls need. Putting blame on other people in life just to surface your needs at the time is no way to live. When people strip down their peers values it shows a sense of cowardness towards them. When people show signs of weakness that’s when they are targeted most by those who truly are afraid of the truth.
Values are the things that are important, meaningful and valued by any group of people or anyone in general. Whether we are aware of them or not, each individual has their own values, or beliefs, which can consist of many different things. The one thing that is valued most by people is family and religion. Family is something that people rely on the most. When people are badly injured in the hospital one of the first things the doctor asks for is if they would want track down their family for them.
Religion can be based off of so many things but everyone believes in something or another that’s what makes life such a unique thing. Whether or not we believe in God, or Vishnu, or even Krishnu. It doesn’t matter because everyone is free to their own beliefs. In the short story Young Goodman Brown it says, “What, my sweet, pretty wife, dost thou doubt me already, and we but three months married!”[4] “Then God bless you!” said Faith, with the pink ribbons, “and may you find all well, when you come back.”[5] “Amen!” cried Goodman Brown.

This shows how much his wife cares about him. Even though she questioned him on where she was going she was just making sure he knew his values and what he was worth to her.
It is very important to not question our values. It is what defines us in ways other things can not.Personal values are things that we develop in our day to day lives. They can be strongly encouraged by friends, family, teachers, classmates, and the list goes on and on.
Values can be so engraved in us that often times we forget that they are even there most of the times. Everyone needs to be conscious of this and in order to do that they have to constantly remind themselves of what values they have. When people do this they can begin to live a happier healthier lifestyle.
When people think of values they might just think of living life but there is more to life than just living. It is knowing where we stand, it is the idea of someday having our personal dreams come true by being ourselves.
One of the biggest things in life is to have value. To have value is a valuable thing. Everyone has some sort of value whether it is good value, or bad value. Everyone has different value towards different people depending on relationships towards them.
To have value is to have understanding, really appreciate it, and to have meaning. It is so important to be able to take all of these things in so that everyone can be able to really appreciate what kind of value people can have.
