The biological theory of evolution originated with Charles Darwin 140 years ago. He defined evolution as the process by which organisms change over time through hereditary variation. This development gradually occurs over millions of years. The contesting creationist believes that the world and its inhabitants were made through specific acts of divine creation, as in the biblical account. Evolutions theory fails many challenges of logic and science due to missing links and claims that cannot be supported by fact.

According to the Bible, by the word of his mouth God created all things in order and to full maturity. The environment and all its components are meant to function at equilibrium, where each component depends on all others. A thriving ecosystem rests on these symbiotic relationships. Because of this, it is clear that all symbiotic beings had to have been created at the same time. The alternative seems simply impossible. The evolutionist will claim that all living beings have evolved from a single cell into every specie there is today. If this speculation held, then the species that depend on each other today would have had to have survived millions of years without each other.

Evolution states that everything that is, has resulted from random occurrences over millions of years. Living things are multifunctional, carrying out complex processes simultaneously. Also, all living things are precisely engineered for their specific function. The evolutionist rules this phenomenon a coincidence, but it is hard to say that this engineering occurred by chance. The evolutionary process is flawed because its principals exceed the limits of DNA and the natural world. It is not reasonable to say that species created themselves with their means of survival already intact at pure random. A more believable explanation would be that a more intelligent being designed each DNA sequence to fit the animals’ needs. Even the smallest cell’s complexity is too great to be formed by randomness. Still, the evolutionist will argue that what we see is only an illusion of design and there is no real intelligence behind it.

Natural selection, although not technically an evolutionary process, usually runs hand-in-hand with the theory. This is incorrect because the process of natural selection could never extend out of the natural laws of DNA. Natural selection means to select traits from genetic information that is already imbedded in the organism’s biological chemistry. These variations are favorable in the organism’s struggle for existence. The theory predicts that the stronger animals will pass their strengths off to their offspring, and the weaker animals will not live long enough to reproduce. Natural selection does not claim to create another species, only edit existing ones.

If throughout the eras, living beings evolved continuously from one species into another eventually creating every living being we see today, then it is to be expected that fossils in the intermediate stage between species would be discovered. Surprisingly, there have been no transitional species found. There have been no paleontological findings of gradual change such as fish morphing into amphibians. We also see no example of present-day evolutionary processing. There is no visual representation of living beings still evolving creating new species. So, if evolution ever existed at one point did creatures stop evolving?

There are too many missing links to move evolution from a mere theory to a proven law, yet science still deny any possibility of purposeful creation. Based on my research of various sources such as www.ucg,org and www.vexen I have found no strong evidence that evolution has ever taken place. It seems to be a further stretch to agree with evolution then consider the possibility of a true purposeful creator.
