All the hype in the article is about the coconut oil. Some people think that coconut helps people to loose weight and help Alzheimer’s and heart disease, but some not. Even some of the researchers did not find a solid proof that it really helps a person to recover from their sickness. From my point of view coconut oil is really beneficial. The truth about coconut oil is understandable to anyone who has studied the health of those who lived in native tropical nations, where coconut has been a primary dietary key for thousands of years. I for example come from a tropical country named as Fji. I used to scrape the coconuts at my home and make natural oil. I never bought oil for the six-teen years of life. My parents are healthy even though we eat spicy food. We don’t have any health problems. I used to eat coconut oil for the l6years of my life, but now I have to eat olive oil because | live in modernized country. I think coconut oil is the best oil to cook our food in.

In todays society people think that using processed oil like olive oil, canola oil, soya bean oil is best for them, but they don’t look at the effects that is going to cause them. The naturally happening saturated fat in coconut oil is actually good for us and it also provides a number of profound health benefits, such as: Improving our heart disease. Boosting our thyroid. Increasing our metabolism. Promoting a lean body and weight loss if needed and also it supports our immune system. Coconut oil even has the benefit, when we apply it to our skin. It has been found that it has anti-aging regenerative effects.

Coconut oil has been found one of the few foods that can be said as super-food. It can be said as super food because it has unique combination of fatty acids that has positive effect on health. It provides one of the richest sources of saturated fat known to man. Bottom line it has one of the profound fatty acids of medium length known as Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT’S). This fatty acid is metabolized in our body differently. Coconut oils are full of saturated fats, which actually don’t harm the blood lipid. Saturated fats raise the good cholesterol and change the bad cholesterol to a low lip-protein. Some studies has also shown that doing experiments on rats and human both show that coconut oil improves important risks factor like LDL and HDL cholesterol, which reduces the risk of heart disease over long term. Alzheimer’s disease is one of the most common diseases, which reduces the ability of use of glucose for energy in certain part of the brain. Studies have shown that fatty acids in coconut oils can increase the blood levels of ketone bodies, delivering energy for the brain cells of Alzheimer’s patients and discharging symptoms. Coconut oil has been also found to be especially effective in reducing abdominal fats. This fat happens to stay in the abdominal cavity and around organs. Some woman’s and mans tried to cut down the most dangerous fat by adding coconut oil in their diet for almost four weeks and noticed changes in their waist.

Furthermore when I see the jars of coconut oil on the shelves of Costco, I feel that it’s not a natural coconut oil. It has been procesed with so many chemicals so that some manufacturers can make money, and they are able to sell their product in the market. A natural coconut oil is one, which is just scrapped and naturally heated to get the oil. I would tell my friends try to buy the natural organic brand of coconut oil rather than buying a processed one.
