Mother Teresa is a visionary and missionary. She is a model for educationalist to empower women through education. As a Religious and Educationist she has done yeomen service to the people in the caste-ridden society in Kerala. The study is focused on her contribution to empower women through education and women’s power to generate income through various activities like coir industry, embroidery etc.
Objectives
- To find out Mother Teresa St.Rose of Lima’s role in education in empowering the women and as entrepreneurist.
- To evaluate the promotion of the holistic development of young people based on the integral vision of the human person.
- To critically analyze the growth and development of educational institution and self- employment activities run by CSST Institutions.
Methodology of the study
Details’ regarding Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima an educationist and entrepreneurist – A sociological study is primarily based on secondary data and through unpublished sources. This study used historical research to analyze the events that happened in the past and observation based on the development in the field of education and changes taken place in lives of women after the empowerment of women through value based education
