My favorite food is Wisconsin Mac & Cheese from Noodles & Company. I like to add parmesan chicken for some protein. I don’t like eating vegetables. I have tried tomatoes a couple of times, but I think that they taste like a garden or dirt, even though they are washed and clean. I like pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, ketchup, and salsa, so it is weird. Salads are okay, it they are only lettuce, chicken, a few carrots, and southwest salad dressing. I am picky with my salads. I eat more on the weekends because I am usually bored, and I eat when I am bored. I eat healthier during the week because my mom helps me make my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the weekends, I eat more sugary, processed food, because I get no help and I am usually in a rush. I eat on average, 3 meals a day, with a few snacks here and there. My parents encourage me to eat healthy. I listen to them sometimes. I like to eat healthy, but I also like candy.

I met one of the categories on the dietary analysis. It was the sugar category. I need more nutrients, and calories. I eat healthy, but since I am a cheerleader, and work out a lot, I need more calories. I also get full very quickly, and I don’t feel like eating more. If I eat too much, I feel like I am going to explode.

I am under in all the categories, except sugars. Not getting enough calories can cause fatigue. Fatigue is extreme tiredness. On a normal day, I think that I don’t get enough calcium, veggies, fruits, and protein. I think that I eat too much sugary, processed foods.

My weekends usually consist of lots of junk food, and food out. On weekends, my family is usually busy, resulting in us having to eat out more often than we would like to. Usually when me or my mom cook dinner, it is healthier. When I tracked my diet, my dad had just bought lots of my favorite ice-cream, so I ate lots of it. On weekends, I usually eat healthier, but the weekend that I tracked my diet, I was out and about most of the day. I didn’t have the time to prepare a healthy meal.

I eat too much sugar, and I don’t get enough calories. I also don’t drink enough water. Some days, I barely drink two cups of water, when I should be getting about 4 times as much. When I get home from school, I could drink a smoothie, instead of eating chips. If I were to eat the way I did when I tracked my diet, I would be fatigued a lot. I would also probably gain weight, eating all the sugar and processed foods. This assignment was helpful because I now realize how unhealthy I eat, and how little water I take in.
