Planned Parenthood has become a topic for debate and controversy over the ethics behind the organization and if the government should fund it or not. Planned Parenthood is a non profit organization provides services for women who need birth control pills, hormone sterilization, and other sexual reproductive services. However one of these services that they provide is abortion and the legalization of abortion through Roe v. Wade has allowed for abortions to be performed all across America. Planned Parenthood manages to profit from these abortions by selling the body parts of the aborted child to make profit. Planned Parenthood funds these profitable actions through the funding they get from the government; and now there is a movement where the government should not fund Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood should not be funded because of the inhumane crimes that are committed that clearly infringes the very foundation that our founding fathers has set for this great nation.

Planned Parenthood began in Brownsville, Brooklyn during a time where the Comstock Act was in effect. The Comstock Act is a set of federal acts passed prohibiting the distribution of sex toys, birth control pills, contraceptives, etc. The leader of the birth control clinic and two other women got arrested and were charged with minor charges due to the lack of severity of the crime. Despite their time in jail they were still able to campaign which led to major changes in governmental laws in the future of sex related education and healthcare. Soon afterwards the American Birth Control League was founded in 1921 which led into more centers and patients participating in this league, this soon evolved into what America now calls Planned Parenthood. “In 1955 Mary Calderone, Planned Parenthood’s medical director, convened a secret conference on abortion.

Three years later Planned Parenthood published Abortion in the United States, which presented a broad spectrum of opinions on the subject and sparked considerable debate. Planned Parenthood continued to advocate reform and filed an amicus curiae (‘friend of the court’) brief in Roe v. Wade. Since that case, Planned Parenthood has been in the forefront of many legal battles to keep abortion safe and legal, including Planned Parenthood v. Casey and Planned Parenthood v. Danforth, while at the same time providing gynecological services to women from all backgrounds.” (Cullen) The foundation that Planned Parenthood had segwayed into future court cases involving secret abortions being made when abortion was illegal such as in Calderone’s case in 1955. Then leading up to the Roe v. Wade decision there were intermediate fore front battles regarding the law with planned parenthood however these futile attempts simply provide as fuel to the fire for a later court case that will set the laws and hold the fate of Planned Parenthood. Roe v. Wade is the court case that altered the fate of Planned Parenthood as it introduced the concept of privacy in terms of the woman when she is pregnant.

Mary Ziegler’s Beyond Abortion was interviewed and Ziegler’s response to the misconceptions and the overall role of the Roe v. Wade case was to “set the norm for privacy for a woman” and it established “the choice that a woman can have to better herself and the child”. (Ziegler) It was not until later court cases that the idea of abortion rights and pro-choice ideals, they were sparked by the Roe v. Wade decision not created by it. “The law in question, which forbade abortion unless the life of the pregnant woman was at risk, had been passed by the Texas legislature in 1857. Like many other state laws, it punished only those performing or ‘furnishing the means for’ an abortion, not the woman undergoing the procedure.” (Issues and Controversies in American History) In the Roe v. Wade decision it only questioned the person performing the abortion meaning the doctors and surgeons that are willing to perform them not the women who want the abortion. The whole function of this case was to act as a key for future cases to ensure ideas and ideologies such as abortion rights and pro-choice for women.

The overall history of Planned Parenthood shows the devious and unlawful nature behind the organization as they have been conflicting with the law since their very existence. The fact that Planned Parenthood conflicted with the law so many times proves that it as a whole is unconstitutional and unlawful to the American society. From the arrests of the first founders of Planned Parenthood to the Roe v. Wade decision shows the unjust means in funding it. Planned Parenthood’s history has made the overarching theme of deception and unlawful murder apparent which is why it should not be funded anymore and the organization and the idea of the parent controlling the destiny of their parenthood should be ruled unconstitutional and should be abolished.

Meet Kermit Gosnell: The Lucifer from Planned Parenthood

Kermit Gosnell is the epitome of the evils and criminalistic nature of planned parenthood as his crimes violated the law on the basis of basic human rights. When Gosnell began his medical career he performed his medical practices in the poor neighborhoods that he grew up in which he started to support the abortion movement during the 1960’s and 1970’s. Soon afterwards he opened an abortion clinic and televised a second trimester abortion using a technique called a Super Coil where he spins a coil into the uterus and punctures the fetus exploding it from the inside out.

From 1989 to 2006 Gosnell received numerous complaints and had conflicted with the law due to his malpractice as many tragedies occurred and many cases concerning him came to existence. However in 2010 the government managed to get a warrant and raided his clinic finding horrific sites full of corpses of animals and human fetuses. What was more shocking was the dead remains of babies that were older than 24 weeks splattered all over the floor. This horrific crime scene soon brought about his arrest in 2011 where he was charged on the account of the murder of three infants who already have been born. “A Philadelphia judge dismissed three of eight murder charges on April 23 in the trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, a Philadelphia abortionist accused of killing infants who had been born alive at his abortion clinic.

Gosnell was arrested in January 2011 and charged with seven counts of infanticide and one count of murder.” (Three Counts of Murder dropped …) The sheer cruelty and the sadistic nature of Gosnell as he calmly admits to killing three innocent defenseless and leaving a bloody mess treating their corpses like mince meat as the unsanitary mess of human and animal bodies stand to haunt the shallow remains of the abortion clinic. How can the government trust these types of people like Kermit Gosnell for this malpractice of a hanis act? How can the government still consider abortion legal and continue to fund Planned Parenthood when such devious and heinous crimes are committed? It simply makes no pragmatic sense for the government to allow any form of surgery or medical practices to be entrusted to these sadists that call themselves doctors.

However Kermit Gosnell is not the only abortion doctor that has these malicious intents, the case of Gonsell is proof that within the Planned Parenthood organization there are doctors who perform such surgeries through this malpractice and gruesome manner. “The irony of this case is that those on both sides of the debate were hoping for a conviction. That’s because what Kermit Gosnell means to the abortion debate really comes down to this: Was he an outlier, or are there more abortion providers like him who just haven’t been discovered yet? Abortion rights backers insist he’s an exception.” (Doctor’s Murder Conviction …) The constant worry that there are other people just like him out there performing these horrific and hanis practices, as it is very clear and evident that there is doctors like Kermit out there who are committing these horrific crimes that go not noticed by the government.

Both abortionists and anti-abortionists agree that the Planned Parenthood organization has evil people just like Kermit Gosnell and they can get away with these crimes and go unpunished. Since the actual organization takes no responsibility for the sadistic crimes that take place. The political cartoon (As shown in Works Cited) portraying Kermit Gosnell and the grotesque nature of his crimes and the crimes of those who do the same gives all of the reason for the government to defund Planned Parenthood due to the amount of doctors and practitioners that embody the horrid scene as shown in the political cartoon. In the actual cartoon it shows Kermit with a pair of scissors and a pool of blood in front of him as he is about to kill the third baby which portrays the crime he got arrested for in 2011.

Before he televised some of these abortions taking place but in the cartoon it is evident that the media is cutting the power cord to the recording device which proves that these three homicides were truly an evil act which is why he would not record them. The grotesque nature of the crime is not something he would want to record and televise which proves the shady and deceptive nature of Planned Parenthood. The cartoon also shows how the baby is crying which proves that the baby itself is indeed human and therefore the artist tells the grizzly tale of this triple homicide and insights into other criminals under the Planned Parenthood umbrella who could also be committing such horrific acts. With the events of Kermit Gosnell and the various crimes he commited proves that the doctors under Planned Parenthood can not be trusted and a good percentage of these abortion doctors are indeed sadistic and evil which now becomes not an issue of morals but rather a issue on safety.

These doctors are infringing the very foundation and purpose of our government and that primary purpose our our government is to protect the lives and property of the people. With these doctors going unchecked and committing these crimes give more of a reason to defund Planned Parenthood. The grotesque crimes that these doctors commit and since they go unnoticed they must be punished and the government should make the decisive decision to defund Planned Parenthood and end these crimes against humanity.

Feticide Laws Proving The Humanity of a Fetus

Feticide is considered a crime in most states in America and since it is considered as a law and it treats the fetus as a human being it is a direct contradiction to the constitutionality of abortion. Having abortion rights on the basis of that the fetus is not human is a direct condradiction to feticide laws in many states and it makes asolutley no sense to justify abortion on the means of the humanity of the fetus. The states satures and laws already prove that the fetus has humanity and this humanity comes with the basic human rights that our founding fathers bestowed upon us. In the U.S , most violations of savagery in terms of reagrds to life are secured by state law, not government law. Thirty-eight states right now perceive the ‘unborn kid’ or embryo as a manslaughter unfortunate casualty, and twenty-three of those states apply this guideline all through the time of pre-natal development. Government and state courts have reliably held that these laws don’t repudiate the U.S. Preeminent Court’s decisions on fetus removal.

In 2004, Congress established, and President Bush marked, the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which perceives the ‘youngster in utero’ as a lawful unfortunate casualty in the event that the individual in question is harmed or murdered amid the commission of any of the 68 existing government violations of savagery. These wrongdoings incorporate a few demonstrations that are government violations regardless of where they happen, wrongdoings in administrative purviews, violations inside the military framework, wrongdoings including certain bureaucratic authorities, and other unique cases. The law characterizes the fetus as a youngster in the uterus as living and as seperate entity that has basic human rights and the fact that abortion rights exist is completley ludicrous.

In the same state where abortion rights spawned now has some of the tightest feticde laws and the coexistance of these two idealogies can not be pheasable to any degree. “Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 1.07 relates to the death of or injury to an unborn child and provides penalties. The law defines an individual as a human being who is alive, including an unborn child at every stage of gestation from fertilization until birth.” (NSCL) In Texas which is the same state that allowed for Roe v. Wade to become law clearly
