Have you ever been asked what the American Dream was? The definition of American Dream is a noun and the ideal by which equality of opportunity is available to any American, allowing the highest aspirations and goals to be achieved. The dream was to be able to work and take care of things.

The American Dream is to live in the suburbs and be affluent; single-family house.Also, they want to get a great education, a safe environment for children and neighbors. Some people were happy with life. There was many depressed men and women were confused about what they should be doing and what they want. The goal for women was to get married, to be a good wife, have babies, and raise them well. Some women wanted to do other things. Men were happy with their lives and jobs. Many men missed the war and adventure back in Germany or Japan.

There was a new American Dream after all the bloodshed, home front, hard work and patriotism. Americans from the United States get to live the American Dream. The United States has a lot of opportunities and benefits. Most people want to come to the United States from a developing countries to have freedom. Some people have bad health so the United States can offer that option for a good healthcare. Most people sleep on the ground so the United States can offer better living space and housing. In a developing country, it does not have jobs, money, food, education, transportation, employment, and technology. The developing countries economy is bad.

By the 1950s, the American Dream had ecom passed the ideas of futurism and opportunity. When the WWII ended, Americans turned their attention to their families and jobs. Technology created opportunities for many.

By the end of 1950s, Americans were enjoying the highest standard of living in the world. Everyone was enjoying the American Dream. They were just living the beginning of the American Dream.
