Suicide caught your eye. Teen suicide, a quite horrible thing, but it’s real. Suicide is the act of taking one’s life, purposefully. No one really knows what would drive someone to end their own life, but there are several phycological theories to help ease the minds of those who ponder the subject. Although, with recent research, evidence has concluded what can drive someone to end their lives. This report will give you the help you may be looking for, either for someone you know or even yourself.

Psychologists believe the act of suicidal tendencies belong to the fact that one’s life has too much struggle or too much hardships with little up rise, that they edge one to find peace with death. Another theory is one based off religion, that the “devil.” Is the being who is filling one’s life to the brim with grief, causing them to think the only way, is the way out.

Each year, the status of suicide with young people ending their lives is rising. In more recent years, the charts are seen uprising in suicide, but an issue is the age range, more than half the people who end their lives are 17-35. Each year, the stats are rising, people are ending their lives. Each day, there is at a minimum twelve minors who are found dead by their own hands,

Though suicide is a major concern in many people’s lives, there are some great strategies to prevent the loss of someone who may be thinking of ending their life. Some misunderstandings consist in language. In recent years, kids have been heard saying, “I am going to kill myself.” Though, that is a very concerning idea, the tone of one’s voice can reveal real intentions.

But how can you tell what’s a joke, and what’s not?

Here are some important signs of one who may be struggling. Obvious self-harm can be a major sign. In many reports, one who self-harms most likely will not be wanting to show off their harm, most try to hide, or keep it a secret. Finding out if one is self-harming can be quite a difficult task, especially if you want to go unnoticed by the person you believe is hurting themselves. One valid tip is to be gentle about the topic. Using force will do more harm than good. Another sign is if someone is giving away things, when someone plans on ending their life, they don’t need much use of their items. Most suicidal people are seen rehoming their items; this can be a very key sign in determining if someone plans on ending their life.

Preventing suicide is not an easy task to conquer, it can be frustrating for both sides, as well as upsetting at times, but there are a few people who have devoted their life to ensure some people find light in the darkness.

Twenty-One Pilots is a great example. This band consist of two people, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. These people have used their talents to make the world a little brighter for those who internally struggle. Their songs consist of every-day problems for those who find themselves restless. Some great examples are, “Migraine.”, “Ride.”, “Kitchen Sink.” Another person who speaks about the issue of teen suicide is Clayton Jennings. He has a beautiful way of putting these issues out there, and how to help the person listening. He helps people find their purpose and their life.

In conclusion, ending your life, is never the answer, it is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Everyone was given a purpose, to live it, not to end it, find your meaning, and never let go; it’ll light your dark path.
