Global Warming has been one of the worst epidemics throughout the United States and many other countries. Throughout the centuries, no one emphasized the meaning of how important this epidemic would be to natures overall survival. Global Warming has affected climate change to such a degree that it is beginning to affect the everyday functionality of human life, as well as animal life. Global Warming awareness and preventative action need to be increased because if not, it will negatively affect the climate of the earth, along with human and animal existence.
Global Warming has been affecting climate since this epidemic has occurred. The climate has changed since the 1900s but has doubled in the last 30 years. According to Borenstein and Forster, “Earth is noticeably hotter, the weather stormier and more extreme. Polar regions have lost billions of tons of ice; sea levels have been raised by trillions of gallons of water. Far more wildfires rage.” This quote that Borenstein and Forster said is informing readers on how climate change is causing more natural causes that are appearing on Earth. These natural causes like floods, hurricanes, and bitter snow storms are damaging nature, homes, and buildings, and causing more pollution and gas towards the earth.
The United States government and the president are trying everything possible to help the world become a better place. According to Mooney and Dennis, “Repeal several federal rules aimed at curbing the nation’s carbon output, including ones limiting greenhouse-gas emissions from existing power plants, oil and gas operations on federal land, and carbon emissions from cars and trucks.” Mooney and Dennis explained to readers that citizens today are now taking action into making the earth cleaner; for example, cutting down the usage of unnecessary electricity and gas which is increasing the effects of Global Warming.
Animals from around the world, especially the arctic animals, are dying due to the weather change throughout the seasons. They aren´t sure where to hibernate or prepare for the different climate changes. The land animals are dying every day due to how much climate has changed for them. Their natural resources are becoming dried out and seizing to produce any crops or natural grains. As reported by Mooney and Dennis, “It affirms that the United States is already experiencing more extreme heat and rainfall events and more large wildfires in the West, unnecessary at more than 25 coastal U.S. cities are already experiencing more flooding and that seas could rise by between one and four feet by the year 2100.” These heat waves are causing animals to pass out from not enough water in they´re habitats, and crops to dry out before these animals get a chance to collect them. As for marine or arctic animals, they are being forced to relocate into warmer areas of Antartica that isn´t comfortable for their living habits. Ice sheets and glaciers are beginning to melt, causing oceans to rise and underwater plants to be floating on the surface which may suffocate the animals.
Animals are mainly suffering from this climate change because of how unready they are to prepare for the incoming weather changes. Mooney explained, “As temperatures increase, planetary ice sheets and glaciers are beginning to melt, oceans to rise, coral reefs to bleach and floating Arctic sea ice to shrink markedly, among many other consequences.” The weather is only increasing by warmth; ice sheets and glaciers are melting causing polar bears, penguins, and other types of arctic animals to relocate into better environments for them which will be decreasing they´re risks of life and endangerment. Animals every day are dying which is going to lead into endangerment of the species.
Human activity feeds is the main reason as to why Global Warming is still happening today. Technology is evolving leading to the expenses of electricity and more resources being used to create these items. Not only is electricity a problem, but gas is the prior restriction. The gas is produced by cars running every day is causing pollution just like food trucks in the city. In regards to Borenstein and Forster, they stated, “The nation’s extreme weather, flood-inducing downpours, extended droughts, heat waves, and bitter cold and snow, has doubled in 30 years, according to a federal index. The Northeast’s extreme rainfall has more than doubled.” This quote is proving how the climate it changes is drastically causing more supernaturally behavior like floods, droughts, downpours, hurricanes, and bitter temperatures freezing people to death. These supernaturals are causing homes and building to be destroyed causing debts in people´s insurance. The government and the president go into more debt per year based on the money it takes to help prevent, change, or fix these types of problems. Due to the rapid climate changes, citizens all around the world are dying and suffering from the epidemic. Even though this is a tragedy for citizens, people are trying to make a change to prevent these unnecessary deaths and breakages.
In conclusion, the climate, nature, humans and especially animals are dissolving in the very moment each day. Many people don´t take action into this cause because they don´t realize how strong Global Warming affects the Earth. The very earth we walk upon will soon be dismal if the human race doesn’t step forward and begin taking actions to help change this economic cause. Not only will the climate of the earth change, may affecting humans, but animals are also being killed by this epidemic; which is why Global Warming is such an important topic to discuss upon.
