Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World is a dystopian novel follow by Bernard Marx, a Citizen of The World State, who is the odd one out in a futurist world. Men and women are given equal opportunities for the most part, where there is world peace, no war plus everything that occurs or happens is one’s very own result want and nothing more. Bernard goes on a trip to New Mexico an undeveloped nation and brings back John and his mother. The saint in the novel, John the savage is Huxley’s principle point of convergence. It is through his eyes and mind that the peruser sees what’s really happening. In Brave New World, the collapse of humanity is simultaneous with the rise of an omnipotent government in a world where everything is engineered and observed, leading to a public created in a test tube and a manufactured society. In this essay, I will investigate the theme of the novel by showing how the main theme of the novel is technology government control plus the imbalance effects on this society.

Huxley made a reality where each individual’s opportunity is detracted from them due to their pre-planned ways of life. The World State’s government controls its people destiny and everything is stabilized using technology. Specifically, Hypnopaedia, or sleep teaching, is a way that administering bodies in Brave New World shows youngsters ethical quality and class qualifications. To give data onto a youngster, speakers put beside the child rehash trademarks and messages while they rest so as to instill those messages in the infant’s memory. These messages advance societal beliefs in regards to class jobs and legitimate conduct with respect to sex and similarity.

These methods are a crucial component of World State life because the babies caste plus what their contributions to the society are going to be is determined. “Till at last the child’s mind is these suggestions, and the sum of the suggestionsis the child’s mind. And not the child’s mind only. The adult’s mind too-all his life long. The mind that judges and desires and decides- made up of these suggestions. But all these suggestions are our suggestions!”(21) the government brainwashes its people right when they are still an infant, thus controlling an individual’s life from an early stage. Along these lines, joy depends upon one’s opportunity to choose their own place in the public arena, the connections they build up with others, and the capacity to settle on their own choices. Since the administration control every individual’s being they are not privileged with making their own choices.

The government not only controls its citizens right from when they are born but they also make the babies, unlike how not every but the maximum of the babies are made by sexual production but in the novel, every single infant are made in the test tube. The practice of making babies by using technology is also known as the Bokanovsky Process where there are “One egg, one embryo, one adult-normality. But a bokanovskified egg will bud, will proliferate, will divide. From eight to ninety-six buds, and every bud will grow into a perfectly formed embryo, and every embryo into a full-sized adult. Making ninety-six human beings grow where only one grew before.”(7) essentially cloning as many humans the party can from one embryo hence having identical faces working for identical machines. Having the Bokanovsky Process also means having no such thing as a family which leads to having no mother, father, uncle, cousins, etc meaning individuals do not have any value for any other person but themselves. Leading on people never made bonds with the general population encompassing them and never shaped connections, or the attention to wind up more astute individuals. They were caught in a world intended for them to commit no errors and feel nonpartisan about everything. To finish up when somebody never encounters something contrary to something, they never comprehend its genuine importance. They never get the opportunity to feel anything to its maximum capacity, so to them it’s normal.

Following the people having no real relationship or ambition in their life causing them to not have any true happiness to which the government gives everyone soma, a drug people can take. It speaks to an approach to escape torment, distress, humiliation, misery or outrage and to improve happiness, excitement, and a general feeling of prosperity. When Bernard brings John the savage and his mother Linda to The World State and after when everyone becomes shocked about the Director being a father and John being the son. Bernard becomes famous because of John. Bernard is around john all time like John is his discovery, while all of this was happing Linda starts taking soma every day to get away, from her mental state.

Linda dies because of overdosing on soma but no one feels sad except John since everyone emotions are premade. John commits suicide because of the guilt he felt for Linda’s death and his loathing of physical contact with Lenina in the novel where John’s incensed assault on Lenina moves toward becoming, in the group’s molded reaction, ‘orgy- porgy.’ Outwardly anticipating it, John converges into the fearless modern lifestyle he has been endeavoring to avoid, respecting the sexual want he has so long battled against. “But I don’t want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want sin.”(163) John Recognizes the importance of individuality and how important it is for living otherwise this causes the fall out of humanity.

Brave New World, recognizes government control which results in the downfall of humanity. It is a world made where everything is leveled out, being watched, and engineered. The society is made for failing at giving at people its Individuality, characters from this book still trust that their own joy exists in themselves. As it were, it does on the grounds that they have not experienced life an alternate route because of the way that there are so much power and course over them. Eventually, the general population who looked out for them, for example, John, who was a savage conveyed to the booking for research, trusted that they needed more than the absurd satisfaction made for them. Ultimately the people of The World State having no control over their Happiness.
