Harry Potter loses his parents when he is one year old. Then his aunt takes him into her family. But Harry Potter does not have a happy childhood there. His aunt and cousin treat him very hard. It a kind of unfortunate. When Harry Potter turns 11 years old, he meets something amazing happens to him. He gets a letter from an owl and he joins the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Harry Potter: traditional hero when one is asked how they describe a hero, they state a muscular physique and colorful costume. What one remains oblivious to are the characteristics a hero possesses. In ancient time, Greek Gods had to display certain characteristics to be classified as a hero, the following are solid examples. Harry Potter has an obscure origin, which he turns out to be no more than a symbol of what he will find.

By examine the listed attributes, one must agree that Harry Potter possesses and display the characteristics of a classic Greek hero. First of all, Harry Potter has an obscure origin. Harry learns he is a wizard, and his mysterious past at eleven years of age. He asked Hagrid a few questions about his parents’ death, to which he replies “You’re parents fought against him, but nobody lived once he decided to kill ‘em!” Hagrid explains to Harry that when Harry is an infant his parents are killed by Lord Voldemort.

Hagrid also goes on to explain how the whole wizard world knows Harry: “You’re the boy who lived!” Hagrid tells him how Voldemort tries to kill him as well but fails. The young wizard is the only individual ever to survive an attack from Voldemort, but this left a thunderbolt-shaped scar on his forehead. Harry has a mysterious origin and therefore possesses one of the many charaistics of a genuine hero. In addition to that, Harry Potter has companions throughout his journey Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley accompanies the young wizard on his quest.
