Ever wondered why most schools involve children in sports? Children are involved in sports for many reasons.
Firstly, schools involve children in sports to enable their minds to break away from rigid academic schedules. Perhaps, this is why the proverb, “all work without play makes Jack a dull boy” exists. Secondly, involving children in sports is a way of challenging them to maintain healthier lifestyles.
With kids being physically active during sports, the chances of them developing health problems like obesity, blood sugar problems, depression, and anxiety are low.
