Toby wakes up and is confused. He looks around and notices that he is in a jungle. He doesn’t remember anything, but he still remembers his name. Toby starts to feel hungry so he goes out hunting. He finds a deer but remembers he has no tools to kill it or a fire place to cook it. So he decides to gather wood so he can make tools and a fire place. It starts to get cold, so he moved closer to the fire.
Toby decided to make shelter since it was getting dark. Using branches from trees he made shelter. While he was looking for more braches he finds fruit from trees. Toby then decides to explore the jungle more; the jungle becomes less thick as he goes further. He then hears a strange sound just like water crushing into the shore. As he went further away from his shelter the sound became louder. Then he finds out that it was a beach, soon he noticed that he was on an island! He looked around the shores and finds a ship wreck. He then remembered that he was on a boat because he was a part of a science research team, but because of a storm they ended up on the island.
Toby searched through the ship to find supplies. There was very little food on the ship, about 4 cans of beans and 3 bottles of fresh water, but no tools or anything to call for help. Toby gets off the boat and then there was a man staring at him. He asked if he spoke English or even spoke at all. The man asks him if he was friendly, Toby told him he was. The man told him that his name was Tom; he explained how Toby woke in up the middle of the jungle. “I was searching for food then a I noticed a ship and a person on the shore, so I decided to bring you back to my camp for treatment but then you woke up so I hid away because I didn’t know if I could trust you” Tom explained.

Toby decided to share their supplies so they can survive together. After 16 days food and fresh water started to run low! All the fruits from the trees have been picked and it’ll take a while to grow back. Another 5 days pasted and food was very limited, so was the water supply. They decided to move their shelter out onto shore so it’ll be more noticeable they also make an SOS signal using fire and another using sticks and stones to make the words SOS.
After 9 days all the food was gone! All they had left was a bottle of water, and 2 cans of beans. They only at 3 beans from the can a day and one slip of water a day. Soon they saw an oil tanker pass by, they screamed, shouted, and waved but it was no use. Five days passed and their water bottle was empty and they only had 1 can of beans left. Hope was lost so they gave up. Then they heard a strange sound, it sounded like a helicopter! Tom stood up and waved to the helicopter, Toby didn’t bother because he was too tired. The helicopter was a military helicopter patrolling the skies. It soon landed on the shores of the island. The man inside it asked them how they gone here, Tom explained it all. They all got on board and soon got home, but because of the beans they ate let’s just say that the ride home pleasant.
