This risk is rare, but it it can happen to anyone. Many studios, gyms, or clinics offer many different prices for their yoga classes.

Many who are stationed in a gym usually include their prices in a month membership fee. For example, Clayton State has yoga classes that are offered to their students and I believe that the price for those classes are included in our tuition. I also have a wellness center near where I live that I recently visited and have inquired about different membership prices. Many of the plans offer different amenities which come with different prices. For many yoga classes, the average price is between $15 to $25 an hour. Individuals that suffer from chronic diseases can benefit from yoga.

Yoga can help Angie symptoms and improve quality of life in those who suffer from chronic diseases. Those who suffer from cancer has seen improvement in their physical and psychological symptoms. Also, its found that yoga can help reduce fatigue and lack of sleep in patients who suffer breast cancer. While yoga doesn’t completely eliminate these symptoms, it a great way to help alleviate them and help those patients live a semi-normal quality of life. Yoga was something I’ve always had in interest in. I suffer from anxiety and stress and I’m always in the market to try things that don’t involve taking medications to help maintain my conditions. Writing this paper has given me a new light in something I can do to help maintain my anxiety and stress.

I’m currently getting more information at my nearest wellness center to see how I can get started in yoga classes. I attended a class that my friend currently goes to at the wellness center near my home. I didn’t participated in the class, I just wanted to watch and see what they did in a class since I’ve never been to one. The class started off by sitting crossed-legged on their mats and did some breathing exercises, just to help relax. The instructor then started to do some low-impact exercises just to help relax the muscles and body.

One of the exercises done was stretching the neck and this helps stretch but also helps relax the shoulder muscles. After doing this, the instructor instructed everyone to get into a position called “table top”. This is when you are in all fours with your back straight. Everyone held that position, then moved to putting their back up and down. While doing this, you have to pay attention to your breathing. Keep your breathing at ease. As the class continued, everyone did many poses such as the “v-shaped pose’. Overall, the class has given my a visual representation of yoga and what you can get out of it.Not everyone was able to do or maintain some of the poses, but that s ok. Everyone is at their own level and pace.

The first scholarly article I chose is called “Effects of Yoga-Based Interventions for Anxiety Symptoms” from Clayton States Galileo. This art lie is about how yoga’s effectiveness is to anxiety. According to the article, the research done on yoga does support its effectiveness on anxiety. This study included 319 participants and a total of six studies. (Cramer et. Al. 2018) To of the six studies conducted found that those posed to short-term yoga has found small effects then those who don’t do yoga, while those who are exposed to it in long-term has found larger effects. (Cramer et. Al. 2018)

In conclusion, yoga does have an effect to those who suffer from anxiety and this practice can be used to help maintain anxiety at bay. The second scholarly article I chose is called the “Effects of Yoga on the Quality of Life of Nurses Working in Intensive Care Units” from Clayton State’s Galileo. This article is about determining the effects of yoga on nurses who work in the intensive care unit can change their quality of life. The researchers conducted a random clinical trial. The study chose 70 nurses and slit them to two groups, a controlled group and experimental group. In conclusion, the experimental group showed more improvement then the controlled group. Doing yoga is effective in improving the quality of life of a nurse who works in the ICU.
