Mental illness is described as distinctive nature of feeling worthlessness, sadness, and guilt, in comparison to just a person suffering from a normal sadness or the grief of losing a love one Depression is more persistent and much more serious. Depression is ranked as the main cause of disability because people suffering with grief will often isolate themselves leading to a Major depressive disorder, Communities need to create programs to help those.
American Psychiatric Association defined Major Depressive disorder “involves more than than one episode of Major Depression” each feature both symptoms that would last for more than a week or few that will interfere with the people to work or operate in their daily life.
“Depression occur at any age”, Depression doesn’t just happen to teenager or adults, anyone can get depressed at any age even kids; A survey tells that “the disorder is more frequent in women than mean” but that doesn’t suggest that depression only occurs on women and that many men get depressed to An evidence suggests that “Mood disorders are connected with imbalance in such neurotransmitter, or chemical messengers in the brain, as norepinephrine, serotonin dopamine, and acetylcholine.” Researchers also have investigated many possible associations with the imbalance of hormone, this, “it may be associated with few of other mental disorder and may be result physiological effects of drugs, toxin, or other medical conditions that is commonly the problem most people suffer with.
Depression is one of the most treatable with the help of psychiatry. Exercise or any form of physical activity may help relieve some of the symptoms but many forms of Psychotherapy can work in helping to lessen the symptoms’ seriousness, among the type of psychotherapy are cognitive-behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy that also aims to improving mental health.
There are also many types or classes of drugs that are used to treat depression, and the people respond differently to other available drugs, because of allergy or the dose of medicine doesn’t correspond with the person’s body, there is also a Therapy called Electroconvulsive therapy which is commonly known as an electroshock therapy that is most commonly used on someone who has a severe major depression or bipolar disorder that used other types of treatment but hasn’t work.
It is said to “bring rapid relief from severe depression and can often prevent suicide.” which can show that any form of treatment may help someone who is suffering from mental disability and prevent them from negatively harm themselves or the surrounding people.
Because people suffering with grief will often isolate themselves leading to depression, Communities needs to create programs to help those people and public health authorities are helping usually distinguishing three types of prevention and the first prevention “target preventing the problem to occur, any mental illness and in general, encourage people to have positive mental health”, the second prevention is “to detect and treat the problem early to prevent it for worsening” and the “third prevention is to rehabilitate to prevent complex problem that may occur”.
