Looking back on Jordan’s basketball career and his accomplishment today, you have to ask yourself who will be the next mj? There are a lot of things about Jordan though not only his basketball career which made him. for one Michael Jordan has a good memory, is highly intelligent.he is well balanced and with strong mental abilities. His thinking process is logical, and his problem-solving skills are outstanding. I mean it not only takes skill and endurance on the court but also problem-solving and thinking through problems. Growing up Michael Jordan had a stable family life, his mother Delores was a bank teller who has since written several books. His father James, was a maintenance worker at General Electric. Michael stands fourth in a family of five children. Larry Jordan was the eldest in the family. It was Larry who transported the love of basketball to Jordan. Jordan also had another brother named James Jordan Jr and is also a soldier by profession. Lastly, Michael has two sisters, Deloris and Roslyn Jordan.

Roslyn being the youngest. Michael Jordan completed elementary school from the Ogden elementary school and attended the Trask junior high school. Whilst moving to Wilmington, he was a student of Emsley a. high school. His athletic skills were from the school where he played basketball, football, and also baseball. Jordan began his professional career in 1984 with the Chicago Bulls. Michael was the third overall pick behind Hakeem Olajuwon and Sam Bowie. Michael is estimated to have about 32,292 career points which equals about 30 points a game. It’s a no brainer that Jordan is one of the best players of all time. Jordan has played for three seasons with coach dean smith for the north Carolina dean heels. Jordan then joined the Bulls in 1984 as the third overall pick. He quickly emerged as a basketball league star. Jordan now has been married twice. First, to Juanita Vanoy in 1989 when engaged. Then, to Yvette Prieto in 2011 in which he is still married to today. Jordan has five children, two sons, and three daughters. The names of children are Jeffrey, Marcus, Jasmine, and twins named Victoria and Ysabel. Michael has plenty of homes in both Florida and North Carolina. Michaels net worth is about 1.9 billion dollars. Counting today Michael has about 14 MVP trophy awards. Jordan has also owned the professional team the Charlotte hornets. One of Michael’s most famous quotes is” I can accept failure but I can’t accept not trying”

During 1984-88, this talented athlete has received several NBA awards, including ‘Rookie of the Year’, ‘Defensive Player of the Year’, ‘Slam Dunk Contest Champion.in 1984, as a member of the winning team in the ‘Summer Olympics’, Michael won the gold medal. And in 1991 sports illustrated magazine named him Sportsman of the year; Jordan easily knocks out the park in endorsements and deals. But, Jordan’s biggest accomplishment is probably is the spirit he had to win the game of basketball. In 1984 Adidas made a misstep that presaged others. A University of North Carolina basketball star named Michael Jordan wanted a sponsorship deal with Adidas when he went professional, say people familiar with the matter.

Adidas distributors wanted to sign Mr. Jordan. But just a few weeks after going third overall in the draft, Nike came calling and offered Jordan a once in a lifetime sneaker contract. Now a question that’s asked by many, is it safe to call Jordan the greatest of all time and not think twice? Well, that’s a hard question because there is my great basketball player of his time example- Kobe Bryant[rip] who had the endurance to play just as well as Jordan, Shaquille o’ neal who was about one of the biggest and strongest players in the league. Then you have players like LeBron James and Steph curry who are some influential players today. So it would be hard to suggest that Michael is the “goat’ or greatest of all time. Looking back on Jordan’s career I don’t think you should look on to others to decide whether you have what it takes or not. Only you decide what your future is good or bad. It’s your choice.
