Sclerosis, spinal cord injury, reduce cancer symptoms, HIV/AIDS, arthritis and Epilepsy are disease that medical marijuana helps with pain and symptoms. There has been a lot of conterives about having marijuana legalized for medical purposes. It should be because we could find something in the plant that can cure something very big. The FDA hasn’t approved the plant for helping it treat patients. Some states are allowing it for medical purpose. Even though FDA not approving marijuana they have allowed three types of treatment with cannabinoids. They are Epidiolex, synthetic cannabinoids dronabinol and nabilone to treat nausea and vomiting. Knowing this we could make some research on the plant and find something that can help cure patients.

Many states are starting to allow hospital use marijuana in treatment for patients even in medicine. The FDA, is allowing people to obtain medical marijuana being older than 21 years of age, how much one person can have and the packaging of item and most important taxes. This is helping monopoly for marijuana production and sales. It’s helping eliminate the black market, also it’s helping produce good public medical outcomes. According to VOX, German Lopez, (“by reducing incarceration and weakening the violent black market for pot and minimize the negative outcomes of potentially increased drug use”).

Legalizing marijuana will help the government not only just the people, they allowed to put taxes on it and can control how many people can have. Since alcohol is legal and people don’t have to drink it illegal ,the government is getting the profit from all the commercials, billboards, big events and clubs. Also if we legalized it we would create jobs and more income for people. In California they have over 41,000 jobs and have generated up to 1.7 billion in labor ( Mrinalini Krishna). If the government would legalized marijuana in the USA, we could have 1.1 million jobs by 2025.

The workers would farm, process, distribute and sell. It wouldn’t just help the government it would help people create business and make money for other people. There is really big investment opportunities here, marijuana companies would be free to list their stocks on all U.S. exchanges.Enhancing liquidity and opening up access to many more investors. The growth rates for the cannabis space continue, it’s likely that investors would have a interest in the industry.

Overall, legalizing marijuana and using it to treat patients has a lot of benefits. It not only for the government, it’s also for the people, we need to do what is best for everyone. However, as more and more states move to individually decriminalize pot use in various ways, and as the economic benefits of a legal marijuana industry take effect, there are also many compelling reasons to consider nationwide legalization.
