Many people nowadays love being on a phone. On average time teens, these days spend nine hours on a phone in a day. People check phones over three hundred times a day on an average day. Technology has become bigger and better throughout the past twenty years. Excessive phone usage has become and epidemic crisis. Three effects of to much screen time include educational problems, sleeping problems, and behavior problems. Many people have educational problems because of excessive phone usage. While many people might be on devices too much and do not study, but stay on a phone and don’t do school work and just watching or playing games that are not strengthening the mind. When being on a phone it can stay away from what is really important and focus on what is on a screen and not in real life. Having a television in a bedroom at night falling asleep to it can first damage eyes and second have a lost in academic grades and knowledge.
Being on a phone too much what has been studied will not study or gain from it and will not remember all academic studies and all that someone needs to know. When being on a phone too much it will cause stress from getting bad grades or bad sleep from being on a phone. When being on a device too much there is not enough time for the brain to cool down and take a break. Getting bad grades from excessive usage on a phone can be shown through anxiety depression bad grades and bad habits all around in a normal everyday life. Before going to sleep and having a tv on it damages some peoples eyes and will cause problems with a sight which will make it worse at school to pay attention. Screen time can be fun and not seem like it will backfire or hurt many people but it does it will physically hurt vision and sleep cycle.

Screen time before bed leads to bad grades with a bad sleep leads to bad grades because there will not have enough energy the next day or study time.
