An association between two different countries formed for the common good along with many different treaties and treatises.

World War I Consequences

The first war started with a conflict in Europe, from this small thing gradually developed into a world war. Among European countries, due to militarism, imperialism, racism, and alliance, the tension has increased significantly after the conflict occurred. People believed that it was their responsibility to stand up to fight for their country, but in the majority that were ready for battle, many did not want to fight, and also many soldiers who felt they don’t have any choice. The youngest soldiers that they have is 12-year-old. There is a way to retreat from battle. Bismarck of the coalition system brings peace to European nations. His system began with a pact with Austria-Hungary. Between Germany and Austria-Hungary signed a treaty, which was planned to be closely prepared for a military alliance in 1879. The governments of both countries agreed that they would support, help each other, and not counterattack, even if there was a stronger nation attacking, for example, France or Russia. The cause was derived from militarism, or known for the development of the military, for the defense and can protect the interests of colonialists. The second cause is imperialism. Countries around the world are competing for colonies because very few regions of the world leave colonies. Many competing countries occupy colonies and expand borders with neighboring countries. The third cause is that there are so many alliances that often conflict with each other.

Alliances are made in secret, every nation is committed to protecting each other, which makes the countries suspicious of each other. One of the causes mentioned above is the basic causes considered. Many historical discuss have attributed the main reason to the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand, the heir to the Austria-Hungarian throne. He was shot dead and many thought this was a political conspiracy. The Austria-Hungarian Empire suspected the Serbs of being a conspiracy and immediately sought to fight back and punish Serbian. At the same time his wife Sophie, the duchess Hohenberg, was pregnant and was shot dead by a Bosnian Serb, named Gavrilo Princip. Each nation wants to maintain the strength of their country. So reloading troops is a practical thing to do. Between 1870 and 1919, German and French forces doubled. British and Germany are trying to come stronger. British dispatch ship name “DreadNought” in 1906 the Germans pursued and presented their very own fight deliver.

The alliance has three differents triples. The first one is the triple Entente: Russia-Britain (1907-treaty), Britain-France (1904-treaty), and France-Russia (1894-alliance). The second is the triple Alliance which is Italy-Germany (1882-alliance), Italy-Austria-Hungary (1882-alliance), Austria-Hungary- Germany (1879-alliance), and Germany-The Ottoman Empire (1914). The last one is the Balkans which is Bulgaria-Austria-Hungary, The Ottoman Empire (aid), and Serbia-Russia (aid). These countries mentioned above are called allies. They cooperated to help and protect each other during World War I.

Conclusion

This war lasted for up to 4 years. In 4 years, so many countries, families, manipulation, roads were damaged, and heavy damage. Although the war was over, it still has a great influence on the world to this day. After World War I, many countries had a change in the political, cultural and social order. Europe also fell into misery due to debt costs after the war ended. If the first war did not happen, then perhaps the second war or later wars probably will not occur. War brings only more hatred, not peace.
