In the movie The Pursuit of Happyness, examples of Organizational Behavior exist through the entirety of the movie. Based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the main character of the movie, Chris Gardner, is an individual whom is extraverted, as is exemplified in his very outgoing, sociable, and assertive behavior. He is not hesitant to talk to the superiors of the brokerage company, and is very assertive in doing so.

He is sociable with all of the colleagues and businessmen he meets during his internship at the company.

Chris enjoyed the idea of becoming a stock broker, and knew that becoming one would make him happy. In relation to his relationship with his wife, his wife decided to exit her relationship with him and moved to New York. She left because she was not happy with the current situation, and went to seek it elsewhere, away from Chris. Chris on the other hand stayed and actively pursues happiness throughout the entire movie, finally achieving it at the end.

In addition, the Pursuit of Happyness is a family drama; the major character in this movie has a good spirit to get his happiness. The happiness in this film is to get a job but to get that job is not easy, he must struggle to get that and the struggle is so hard. This movie can make the spectators be affected because besides describing struggle of a father to get a job, this movie also describes love of a father to his son.

Finally, this movie can connect family issues, marriage issues, wealth problems, and povetry. For an example social class, race and ethnic stratification, crime and legal system and such thing like marriage and family.
