For many years, scientists and philosophers have studied alcohol abuse and ways to improve alcoholism on a daily basis. Alcoholism is an addiction to the consumption of alcoholic liquor or the mental illness and compulsive behavior resulting from alcohol dependency. The question that I am seeking to out about Alcoholism is how do people conquer Alcoholism and achieve sobriety. Many of my family members have suffered from Alcoholism. My mother, grandfather, and grandmother suffered from this disease. My mother died from Alcoholism, and she ruined our family.

Alcohol abuse is characterized by excessive or problematic alcohol consumption. It can progress to alcoholism. Alcoholism is a condition characterized by a physical dependence on alcohol and an inability to stop or limit drinking. The risk factors for alcoholism include more than fifteen drinks per week if you are a male. The other risk factors for females include more than 12 drinks you are a female. People with alcoholism drink severely on a daily basis. They try to hide their abuses from their family members and the people that are trying to help them. They are many treatment programs for Alcoholism. The treatment programs for Alcoholism include severe mental health programs, rehabilitations, and counseling. They also include medications and Alcohol Anonymous.

The acronym for Alcohol Anonymous includes AA’s. This is a program accessible to men and women at support groups in their community. It includes treatments, teachings, and the ability to achieve sobriety. Alcoholics can ruin their own families and waste all of the money in their families. There are many factors that can contribute to Alcoholism. Alcoholism can be acknowledged through genetics, depression, and viewing other family members who drink excessively. The Alcohol Anonymous meetings take place all around the world. They take place in communities at rehabilitation facilities, prisons, and United States court rulings. The counseling groups for alcoholism around my communities include approximately ten people and a group leader.

Many people in these type of groups include people with real personal problems and issues. They are suffering from diseases, abilities, and making their family members suffer. They have life-threating situations. They have addiction and binge drinking problems. These addiction problems include five or more alcoholic beverages within in two hours. This can lead to liver damage, heart disease, brain damage, and malnutrition. Many people need to consult their doctor if they have these type of drinking problems. Alcohol use disorder are linked to a wide range of health and safety problems. Female patients have been found to outnumber male patients in many patient support groups.

Females are more likely to search for support than males. In my own personal experience, my grandfather and uncle refused to seek help for their alcoholic problems. Alcoholics waste money because of their abuses. Alcoholics often do not realize they have a problem and it can lead to serious fatal consequences. Fatal means the capability of causing severe death and consequences. My mother needed serious help immediately when she knew she had a problem. Family members of alcoholics need to show their love and support for alcoholics. It is necessary for their futures and to get their life back on track. There are many self-help books that can help with Alcoholism. This self-help books include How to quit drinking without AA and the Easy Way to Control Alcohol.

They also include Responsible drinking and Overcoming Drinking. Patients may be likely to seek and receive adequate help in smartphone-based support groups when their emotional needs emerge or remain unresolved. It is likely that giving and receiving emotional support may appear to be its highest and most varied during active treatment periods. African Americans may be hesitant to seek social support with people outside the family. Coping strategies can contribute to the prevention of relapse in addiction by enhancing an individual’s self-efficacy.

Females were 51% (58/114) for cocaine dependence with all diagnoses; 51% (40/78) for cocaine and alcohol dependence; 64% (28/44) for cocaine and cannabis dependence and 52% (24/46) for cocaine, alcohol and cannabis dependence. Alcohol dependence may predispose individuals to cocaine dependence by the induced vulnerability to an additional dependence when one already exists. Narcotics anonymous formed in 1953, and it was approximately 65 years ago. It was for mutual help addiction recovery. ocaine, alcohol and cannabis dependencies may be manifestations of an underlying predisposition to drug (alcohol) dependence. People with alcohol or cocaine dependence are often addicted to cigarettes. They often have a problem smoking and hiding their addiction from their families. It is very similar to alcohol dependence. There are many bad effects that lead to smoking. It can lead to unhealthy teeth, bronchitis, and heart disease. It can also lead to lung cancer, poor vision, and early menopause. An experiment was conducted. It was conducted to twenty college students. I handed out a piece of paper containing if you have any family members with alcoholic problems. It was conducted to about 20 participants.

The data were collected by using paper and SPSS. It included a survey with addiction and drug abuse problems. The words were put into a spreadsheet to see the words about alcohol and drug abuse. A couple of the questions included I have family members with serious drug issues, and it included my family ancestry included alcoholism and alcoholic dependence. The participants were given approximately five minutes to complete the survey. The results were recorded anonymously. If the individual understands these reasons, and takes actions to overcome them, it will mean that they can enter sobriety without the need for repeated relapse. Most addicts will have periods in their life when they are more susceptible to the idea of quitting their addiction.

The addict will be able to find plenty of excuses not to take action to end the addiction. The longer they delay before getting help the more time they will have to invent excuses. Addicts make up excuses to do regular things on a daily basis. They find other reasons to go out and drink at parties or at home. They often do not want to work, so they find excuses to stay at home. They often try to work online and make money at home. They have an ambivalent attitude towards recovery their failure is almost guaranteed. There are many reasons to stop drinking alcohol. These reasons include being grateful for what you have. It includes building up your self-esteem.
