This is a Times For Kids article about Malala the title is “A heroic return.” The article was published on March 20 2013. On March 19 2013 education teen activist Malala returned to class for the first time since October 9 2012 the day she was shot by the Talibian.
The Talibian follows a strict rule that girls should not go to school and by shooting Malala was their warning to other people. Instead of going back home to Pakistan she went to school and to live in Birmingham, England. Even though she is not home she still speaks out her voice for change in her country and everywhere. Malala’s goal is for every single girl in the world to have or get an education.
Malala has been an internet blogger or writer since she was 11. In 2011 she was awarded the Pakistan’s national peace award for her bravery in writing about the difficulties of life and education in Taliban. She has spoken about children’s rights and been nominated for an international children’s peace prize.
After the attack support for Malala people poured in around from the world. On November 10 The United Nations declared Malala day. The day is where people show the world from all sexes all backgrounds and all countrys that they stand behind her.
