Literacy could be understood as the ability to read or even write and based on the knowledge gained through learning. Learning begins in childhood. “Education comprises establishment of learning institutions such as schools, colleges, universities and elementary classes”. My approach to how I learn is through games. In my entire life I enjoyed playing video games that helped me in reading and writing, Which helped me to improve my vocabulary, Spelling mistakes. And learn about English when I was a kid.
“Major ways that helped me in the learning process was through playing different games that helped me in developing my skills and exploring them”. Playing games helped in developing brain as if we failed in any situation the motivation of learning kept me going through difficult situations. My perspective on learning through video games was how they helped me to learn new languages, there meaning, Spellings of difficult words. This Era of learning through videos games will help the upcoming generation to learn things easily and gain knowledge quickly.
I learned through process of motivation hence the mastery of the English language. There are several negative stereotypes associated with video games and those who play them, some of them may hold true. There are plenty of learning opportunities in video games. While the direct purpose of games is to educate or train, other games that do not directly have this purpose can still become a learning experience. Video games are an effective tool for learning and retaining skills both inside and outside the classroom environment. Video games challenge the player and expand his ability to react fast with very little lag time.

When I was in high school, my best friend and I were determined to make our own jrpg-style games, whether we made any money in the process or not. There is the opportunity to develop transferable skills, or practice challenging, such as flight simulators. video games have great educational potential in addition to our entertainment value. Games specifically are designed to address a specific problem or teach a specific skill have been very successful, precisely because they are motivating, engaging, interactive, and provide rewards and reinforcement to improve.
Puzzle games, crosswords, hangman are popular pen games which helped me with spelling, vocabulary and recognising letter patterns. It was most suited for learning english. In these games we needed two players. One, the hangman thinks up a word and writes down a series of dashes on a piece of paper, and draws the next section of the scaffold to hang the other player. In these games the aim for the hangman is to pick a world which the other player won’t guess before the scaffold is complete. The aim of the player is to guess the word before being hanged. It was so fun playing this game. Combination of learning and playing.
In conclusion, Through this essay, the insights I gained are that we can learn & develop yourself through different activities & other ways. As video games helped me to learn language, write it. These things improved my vocabulary. As well as brain can also be developed like a muscle. As we work more to learn a specific thing we can master that thing so easily. The justifications for hidden opportunities is literacy is the power to conveniently secure information and employment for the learned people. literacy is understood as essential for the people who pursue to learn through games, as in my case. Illiterate people would find it difficult to even endure in the modern world. Hence, literacy and learning is an essential characteristic for the people who would like to learn through reading and writing process.
