The concert was in October 27th 2018 in Smart Financial Center her tour was called the behold Christmas. Her name is Lauren Daigle American contemporary Christian Music singer and songwriter from Lafayette, Louisiana. In the concert the people reaction was cheering, happy, excited. The singer expresses her feelings by closing her eyes and raising her hand and the audience would do the same thing.

The song that she performed was “you say” is a beautiful song she is the only one singing this song while someone is playing the piano. This piece of song is something soft she would start soft then she would get a louder. This sing is based to remind that when you are week, that God is strong and would lift you up. And so, this song for me was just a reminder of identity. It was a reminder that I know when I’m weak, He’s strong so how do I change that and bring that into my everyday life? When I feel inadequate how is it that there’s always these moments where I feel like God just steps in and supersedes my inadequacies

The second piece of song is ‘trust in you”, she was the main singing, but she had four other people singing with her. Now there was drums and piano even guitar players. When Daigle wrote the song with Michael Farren, she was going through a time of significant loss, which catapulted her on a quest for clarity. She explained: ‘My grandfather had just passed away and he and I were super close. We had a lot of questions, and things didn’t work out the way we hoped. We pleaded with God. In that season I had a lot of questions, and I wondered if my faith wasn’t secure enough. I wondered if something inhibited my grandfather’s healing process. The Lord walked me through this moment of reminding me, asking if I was going to rely on what I see right now and how my grandfather wasn’t healed on earth, or was I going to trust in God and who He is?

The third piece of song “how can it be” in this piece there sometimes singing by her only voice then the drums and piano and guitar come and her backup singers as well. Paul wrote with Jason Ingram and Jeff Johnson, and as the song played tears started coming down my face and I was amazed by it. Then, Paul asked if he could paint a picture for me. He told me the story of the woman caught in adultery in the Bible, and asked me to imagine Jesus bending down and writing in the sand, and suddenly the crowd threw this woman at His feet and said ‘look at what she’s done, shouldn’t we stone her? That’s what the law requires,’ they said. Not only was she humiliated, but they threw the law into the mix. That kind of judgment is so wretched. Jesus gets up and instead of saying ‘You’re right, that’s what she deserves,’ He steps into that moment of being on the Cross and shows her what His purpose was before He even fulfilled it.

Each song has a meaning one her grandpa pass away they were close she could have taken it the wrong side being angry or not talking to anyone. When someone dies it affect people, but she overcome it by God help. Yes, we going to miss the person, but we know that person is a better place and not suffering. She is an amazing person she went to the maximum prison she sang songs with the inmates and telling the God still love them no matter what they did. She saw hope in them when she talks to them. This was inspiration to me a person going to maximum prison who would do that.

Every song reminds me of something to trust in God because he is always going to be there for you no matter what. This concert amaze me more how she love God so much that you could feel the presence. Christian music based on American folk music, marked by strong rhythms and elaborated refrains, and incorporating elements of spirituals. contemporary is more feelings/emotion-based. Several Contemporary Christian Music pieces are based on secular songs. While someone is trying to focus on God, they are instead being reminded of worldly things which the original song was focused on
